Monthly Rentals in Chardstock

The sock store was very well equipped for our stay and the area was very peaceful with great views. The location was a good mix of being secluded and accessible. Loved the flapjacks and Tilly the sheep (and friends)! Board games selection, films, streaming services and kitchenware were great. Utility room was very useful and convenient to use. The sock store was spotless and well furnished! The only bad part was having to leave:)

Mary’s barn at Wambrook is such a lovely place to stay. Mary has furnished it exquisitely and it is so comfortable and welcoming. A real gem! Mary is super helpful and is friendly but also leaves you to be on your own. The perfect balance. The barn is lovely - really well equipped and as well as beautifully furnished- and in a beautiful location. A pretty hamlet in the heart of the Blackdown Hills, v close to the excellent Cotley Inn and the great farm shop, Barley Mow’s. And Chard is a short drive away. But you would never know as you can walk pretty walks straight from the front door and you are in the heart of lovely countryside.

Simon and Greta were wonderful hosts. They were incredibly kind and helpful during an otherwise difficult time for reasons outside of this stay. The place is lovely, the views from the balcony incredible. It's just been the perfect place to recouperate after a stressful move. We couldn't have asked for better hosts than Simon and Greta. Very highly recommended!

Friendly hosts who approached at check in when we drove up their drive. Good space, clean and tidy, fairly well equipped. Richard again checked with us after the first night to make sure everything was ok, very attentive and keen to look after the family. Richard offered us to visit their cat Squeaky after our toddler showed interest, and squeaky decided to stay with us for the whole afternoon and into the evening which we loved as we have 2 of our own back at home. Plenty of family friendly recommendations given, and we also added to their list for foodie attractions near by too (otter valley field kitchen, a must visit for the best ice cream in the UK 2024).
