Vacation rentals with a firepit in Cherokee County

Paige's property was absolutely wonderful! It's tucked away and surrounded by peaceful ans beautiful views, the neighbors are courteous and considerate, and the area's shops and locations are well within reasonable distances. The attention to detail in this home was amazing, especially for anyone who brings their fur babies with them. We can't thank Paige enough for allowing us to share her space, she was very responsive and shared plenty of local recommendations! We would love to stay here again, at the very least come back to the Murphy area, the people here are very helpful, welcoming, and friendly!

We loved being able to travel with our dogs. The backyard was beautiful we enjoyed sitting on the deck as well as letting the dogs run free in the woods in the back! She was very responsive and a great host.

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

Clean, excellent kitchen and washer and dryer. Comfortable beds. Pleasant space and peaceful outdoors.

From the moment we put in our reservation Bobby and Dina made us feel so very welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home on the river. The peace and tranquility of the home made it a much needed getaway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Bobby and Dina were super responsive to any requests we had and made some super recommendations of things in the surrounding are. We rode up on motorcycles and the drive in and driveway were very accessible for us to navigate and park. we will definitely be making this our usual place to stay when we're in the area.

We loved this stay. Beautiful, serene, private, and we stumbled on some great activities locally. Only thing - bring charcoal if you want to grill! We didn’t and ended up cooking steak inside. Would def come back, very unique stay.

Absolutely wonderful! It was just my husband and I, but this place would be awesome for families or several couples. Lots of room, fun games, well stocked. The views are incredible - so peaceful and relaxing while staring at the mountains and the lake. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

Could not have asked for more! The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed, and more. Great central location and beautiful setting. The hot tub was clean and delightful after a long day of hiking. The host was very responsive and helpful. Absolutely perfect place!

The apartment was very nice and cozy, and the property was absolutely enchanting. We saw so many deer right around the house. Mimi is an excellent hostess. We hope to stay again some time in the future.

Loved this place! We were in the area for a wedding, but Karah’s place was a perfect little getaway from the big city. It’s tucked away and surrounded by nature which we loved. We wish we could’ve stayed longer and explored! Her two adorable dogs were a plus as well! Everything was neat and tidy, and Karah was super responsive to any messages or inquiries. 😊 would definitely recommend!

Both George and Deborah were great hosts! Beautiful property with many plants and flowers. Had a book in the room with recommendations for local restaurants and many activities. They were both very helpful and friendly

What a lovely cabin nestled inside a great mountain. Jared was very informative regarding getting to the cabin and had great suggestions for the area. The cabin was perfect and was equipped with everything you would need for a stay away. I loved all the games, books, dvds there to add to your stay. Everything was clean and very homey.

Great place to stay and great host, she provides many necessities for the stay and I appreciated that.

Not only did the host accommodate to our check in request but the cabin was extremely clean which is not easy to find when your backyard is woods. We felt at home and felt extremely comfortable. The cabin had everything we could’ve needed and more! We loved it here.

I can't begin to express how wonderful this place is. We had a few things planned and opted to enjoy the surroundings at the cabin. The creek is peaceful and serene. Our dog loved being able to jump and wade through the water. We made sure to allow him in the water only when the renters across the way weren't there. You can barely notice the only neighbors through the foliage. The home is perfectly stocked and the appliances are what you need and work great. The beds are comfortable. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, I accidentally reserved my booking by one day off. AIRBNB was being a huge pain trying to fix it. I tried adding the extra day to accommodate our stay even though I would pay for a day I didn't need. Melinda wouldn't have that, even gave me a personal phone call telling me how she would personally fix MY MISTAKE. She didn't have to do that, yet, she did. I highly recommend this rental and any other Melinda manages. 5 stars isn't enough for the understanding and personal touch.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was peaceful and offered beautiful views—perfect for unwinding. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet retreat!

We have already booked for another weekend. This place has the best spot on a stream and so private. Its definitely a do over !

We loved our stay at the Caretaker Cabin. The Harry Potter themed accents were incredible. Shannon was a wonderful host. She was proactive, responsive, helpful, accommodating, enthusiastic and friendly. My kids enjoyed meeting and feeding the animals. Lots to see and do in the nearby areas including hiking and horseback riding among others.

This place was AMAZING! We were able to visit family in the area but still escape and feel like a vacation! We will be back! This will be a future place we will rent time and time again! Jennifer was amazing from start to finish, we felt right and time and felt like we were treated like family. The creek was amazing, windows open, fire place cackling, water sound. Pure serenity! Thank you! Can’t wait to come back!
