Spencer house was a nice surprise! Located in a calm neighbourhood but close to town centre markets and eateries. Coming to the house, it’s a lovely old building maintained to high standards of cleanliness. The building has an old world charm and has a certain character. We traveled with our parents and families , all of us were reminiscing grandpa’s bungalow! The balcony near kitchen is great place to hang out in the evenings Gowri is super responsive, provides clear communication , and had provided guidance on local sightseeing and food options. Check in was smooth with the care taker. Couple of points to note , the house is on first floor with 3 large size bedrooms with attached toilets and kitchen , balconies; the stair to first floor is bit steep , so for elderly people it may be bit difficult . The kitchen is well equipped but only with an induction cooker. So it’s good for light preparations Overall had a great time and would recommend the place in Chikkamagalur.

It's an awesome place to stay, easily accessible. The host was very friendly and informative and made our stay very nice and comfortable. It is be a nice place for workations as well

I had a wonderful stay at Nirmala's Homestay. The place was cozy, well-maintained, and had a very peaceful atmosphere. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, with lush green trees all around and a charming little waterfall nearby that added to the serenity of the place. Mornings were especially magical, waking up to the soothing sounds of birds chirping. It was the perfect escape from city life, offering a refreshing and relaxing experience. The hosts were warm and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway close to nature, this homestay is an excellent choice! Highly recommended

This place is nothing but another home. It has everything one needs especially if you're traveling with a kiddo. Outstanding thing has been about Nishith been really accomodating and is flexible with check-ins and check-outs. The home is at a uphill road but easily accessible. It has a kitchen with all the utensils and basic groceries one would need but if someone's not in a mood to cook, they would have to travel a km to a close by restaurant or grocery store. The house can easily accommodate 6-7 people and is right beside a coffee plantation. There's a dedicated car parking available inside the premises. The only sour point that I felt and it's easily fixable is there's only 1 water geyser for a bathroom. The other one runs on cold water. It will be a bit difficult when there's a full-house in a rainy or winter season.

Imran, our host, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He called us before our arrival to confirm our estimated time of arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in. Upon reaching, he welcomed us warmly, making us feel at home. The house was spacious and well-equipped, featuring two queen-sized beds, a hall area with a TV, a spacious kitchen with a dining table, and two washrooms. Everything was clean and well-maintained, adding to our comfort. Overall, our stay was perfect, and we truly appreciated Imran's hospitality.

What stood out during our stay at Blue Oasis farm was family like interaction and personal care by Ms. Helen, Susie, Jason and their lovely children. The overall experience was just great-the drive through Charmady Ghat from Bangalore, the property nestled within the large scenic green beautiful farm full of coconut and areca nut trees, herbs, flowers, and banana plantation. The dip in the Phalguni river that runs through the property was really special. The food with ingredients from the farm was delicious. Jason showed us planets and stars with his telescope. The location itself provides access to temples, waterfalls, treks, and beaches within a 1 - 2hr drive. Susie gave us map locations to these places. We trekked up Karinjeshwara temple (four yugas temple), spent a great time at Padubidri beach near Mangalore, visited the Annapoorneshwari temple just 30 mins away etc. We bought fresh food products, and cosmetics from the hosts. Next trip to cover more. Highly recommend.
