Great house and perfect location for our needs. Nice and quiet area. Host was brilliant and gave clear instructions.

I had a wonderful stay at Mike’s place in Chilton. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a perfect visit. The location was peaceful and beautiful. Mike was an outstanding host — very kind, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. His communication was excellent, and he truly went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely love to come back again. Thank you, Mike, for everything!

I had a beamtime at Diamond Light Source, but was unable to stay at the guesthouse as I was travelling with my family, so Victoria's place was the perfect location for us. It is only 10 min by bus to Diamond, and 15-20 to Didcot Parkway, so it easily accessible by public transport. The annex itself is very nice and spacious, and great for families. My daughter loved all the toys, and had enough space to play. It was also very clean and organized. The only downside is that you must take stairs up to reach the area, so this limits some accessibility. Overall Victoria's place is highly recommended, especially if you need to stay off-site while working at the Harwell Campus.
