It is situated in Finavarra Demesne overlooking Finavarra House, the bay and the Burren Mountains. The Flaggy Shore is only 1.2km walking distance and Linnane's Lobster Bar is 1.5km drive. A lovely hiking trail is just up the hill past St. Patrick's Church. Located in the village of New Quay on the scenic Wild Atlantic Way, we are on the route to Ballyvaughan and the Ciffs of Moher. (A car is necessary - we are in a very beautiful rural area with very limited public transport.)

You have the added comfort of being in the surrounds of the Lodge with access to reception, breakfast dining room and on site staff to meet your needs and help with planning your trips. We also offer a laundry service. Breakfast is available from 8-10am from Easter until October and must be pre booked.

Luishne na Maidne (First blush of Morning) is perched on the north eastern shelf of the Caherragh valley in the heart of Burren, County Clare. It has been famously described as 'having it's own private sky and private horizon'. Here, in this protected landscape, farmers and it's other inhabitants co-exist with nature. It is not commercially developed and it's pastures, hills and fields still resonate the names that were given them by our ancestors.
