Great place in a great location!! The house was perfect. Very relaxing with amazing views and easy walk to beach. Paula is a great host, extremely responsive and clear direction. Looking forward to another visit already!

Perfect location! Right across from the beach and less than 10 minutes walk to town. A couples things worth mentioning is the drier did not dry any of our towels or items. We had put them on multiple cycles and were still damp. Also the drier door locks until the temperature has completely cooled down, so you can’t stop anything mid cycle. Should have instructions next to the drier for this as we had things stuck in there for 1 hour, so if you’re in a rush to go to the airport etc could cause issues. Lastly, the top drawer for the cutlery is not on its tracks and its very heavy which can easily land on your feet if not careful. Overall a great place to stay!

If you are visiting magical Byron Bay you would be mad not to stay here. Everything about Shady Palms is perfect. Check in was super easy and upon arrival the place was absolutely spotless with lots of lovely home touches and treats provided by Mili, immediately making us feel at home. The location is amazing, in between the main town and main beach, and lots of smaller beautiful beaches and coastal walks. Mili was very attentive and friendly. We asked for some restaurant recommendations and were provided with a detailed list of some great places. We were also given flexibility on a late check out which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful beaches for a an extra half a day. Some other things to mention, the bed is super comfortable, the shower is spacious and powerful, the aircon is easy to use and makes sleeping very easy. Overall Shady Palms was a beautiful and relaxing experience and one I couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you Mili for being such a wonderful host.

Great location and lovely space to come back to after big days at the beach! The apartment had everything we needed, was clean and beds were very comfy!
