Beautiful historic building with charm, we had a lovely family weekend here. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need. Uncomplicated contact with the hosts. The farm shop across the street completes the offer, the ice cream there and the milk machine were a highlight for us.

Beautiful little house in a very quiet location. In the house you will find everything you need for a vacation. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, exactly the right little things are everywhere. A great garden for the kids, nice hikes possible, with a stopover in quaint restaurants. We've been there in the spring and winter so far. We hope to try out autumn and summer as well. Highly recommended!

Quite new vacation home, equipped with all the comforts. For us a great location for a few days to especially climb in the area. You can also walk there well. There is a garden, although we did not use it. You do look directly at the back neighbors. That didn't bother us. The house is very neat. Jasmin is very responsive and very friendly. We would love to come back!

We felt very comfortable at the place. The house is really totally cozy and lovingly furnished. It has everything you need, soap everywhere, enough toilet paper, etc. Astrid even provided the small additional apartment for us, so we had more space. Thank you! The location is also great, you are super fast in Bamberg (also by bus) and in the immediate vicinity are bakery and supermarket. We will be happy to come back!

Sabine made our Christmas in Germany unforgettable. From the start, she welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and incredible attention to detail. She thoughtfully assigned rooms for our large group and arranged the furniture to ensure everyone felt comfortable and at home. Even though we arrived early, Sabine greeted us with her son, giving us a warm, heartfelt welcome. She provided a detailed tour of the house, patiently explaining everything and answering our questions. To make our holiday special, Sabine decorated every room with glowing Christmas decorations and left thoughtful treats—candy, beer, and wine. Her generosity brought tears to my eyes, and we began our trip with laughter, hugs, and a deep sense of care. Meeting Sabine and her son was the highlight of our trip. We’re so grateful for her thoughtfulness, warmth, and the love she put into making our holiday so memorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything is as in the description – and even better. The house is perfectly located if you want to visit the main attractions of Oberfranken in the Bamberg-Coburg-Bayreuth triangle. Thanks to the very warm welcome and the cozy warm atmosphere in and around the house, we immediately felt at home. The house itself offers everything you need for a comfortable stay – from the kitchen equipment to games for children. In addition, the place is extremely clean and the amenities very comfortable. I highly recommend a stay in the Lieb apartment!

A very nice little cottage with great furnishings, friendly (but not intrusive) hosts, there are a lot of books and games available for children and adults. You can switch off well, also due to the lack of mobile reception :-). We felt comfortable, a beautiful little garden completes the feeling.

We just stayed one night in the apartment on the top floor of Debbie’s rental. The beds were fabulous and it was in a nice little town. Debbie was lovely and very hospitable, a joy to meet!

Good accommodation for hikes in the Steigerwald. Many hiking trails start almost at the front door. The apartment had everything you need for a few days.

This was our favorite Airbnb of all time! The apartment was adorable, the host was friendly and accommodating, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. There were little touches everywhere—from the adorable autumn decor to some complimentary locally brewed German beers in the fridge—to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Hospitality is a big deal in the southern United States where I’m from, but if it’s a bigger deal anywhere else it’s certainly Germany! Our host, Rochus, was flexible with some scheduling changes we had to make shortly before checkin, he met us personally to show us around the unit, he communicated with us throughout our stay, and he was responsive to our questions. We loved everything about our visit here, and if I return to Bamberg in future I will definitely rebook. It was so nice to come home to this lovely little space each day after visiting family and sightseeing . Highly recommend! Thank you, Rochus and family, for the wonderful accommodations!

I had a course and the room was perfect for it I had a 10-minute drive to the school Parking was always available and you could coordinate great with the host Top cleanliness, top condition Great value for money

The apartment was clean, big and the view from the dining table was very nice.

Marcel’s place was exactly as described. Enjoyed the no hassle check-in. Marcel responded promptly to all our messages and we were happy to have found the place.

The place was just as described. Arrival was easy and check-in was smooth. Overall the area is very nice, right across the street there is a small lake that you can walk around. Additionally, almost in front of the place there is a restaurant. For breakfast there is a bakery in the central square a couple of steps behind the place. In summary, we are very satisfied with our stay at Robert's place.

So, airbnb is fun. Accommodation is exactly as described in the photos, everything you need is available and it is very clean. Plenty of towels, extra blankets, comfy bed and a well-equipped kitchen. I highly recommend this place and would book again anytime.

Beautiful bright apartment, easily accessible from the train station by 5 min bus ride and 10 min walk. We were allowed to check in earlier, which gave us half a day more vacation - great. A bakery and a supermarket were close to the property and on the holiday we found a farm vending machine for shopping. The equipment of the apartment was very good and modern (induction stove etc). And a fun little sweeping robot swept the apartment every day. The highlight is the protected terrace, after a day out. The apartment is located on a low-traffic railway line, which did not bother us. Thank you for the lovely stay.

We had a great time staying at Renate's place. Everything was as described, the location is great and most of all Renate and her family were super friendly, helpful and flexible. Both before the trip and during our stay, Renate responded very quickly to questions. The only small drawback may be that the bathroom does not go directly from the room, but you have to take two steps across the hallway, where you can theoretically meet other guests. But the sitting area in the small garden is really nice and it's great that you can have breakfast outside.

We were 6 friends who spent a weekend in Bamberg. The living/dining room was the perfect size. 3 single bedrooms that were spacious and nicely decorated. Super recommended!

5/5 stars! I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb over the weekend. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect stay. The host was extremely responsive and communicative, ensuring a seamless check-in and stay. The space itself was exactly as expected, but the living area/activity space truly exceeded my expectations - it was top-notch! I'd highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.

Frank was an amazing host, so helpful and willing to assist in any way he could. As we were arriving from Australia on Easter Sunday he offered to buy us some groceries because the shops are closed both Sunday and Monday over Easter. We were so grateful to have some supplies to see us through. The BnB is in the best position in Bamberg. Look out the window onto the river and old town hall. How good is that! Shops and eating places right out the door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and enjoyed chatting to Frank and hearing all about the building and his renovation plans. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay. Check-in was quick and efficient (we also arrived 15 minutes after the agreed time because we forgot to change the bus and Dietmar had an appointment: D). On a hot summer day, it must be great to sit on the small terrace by the river. We only had time to sit there once. It's easy to get around by public transport from the apartment. As well as there is a supermarket close by (Edeka). You should be aware that the apartment is on the 2nd floor if you are difficult to walk or can barely lift your suitcase. The apartment is top decorated and a sea of choices for TV entertainment (Netflix, etc.). We didn't miss anything.

The location of the apartment was wonderfully central and also wonderful walks right outside the front door. The key was also handed over in person, which I felt very positive.

Julia and Oliver left me their beautiful, modernly furnished apartment for a few days, which was very clean (and even included a separate children's room, which I didn't need on my own;-)). All spaces are new and nicely renovated, the bathroom was also great. The rooms are also chicly furnished. A very large TV is in the living room, Wi-Fi is very easy to connect and the reception and bandwidth are great. Parking of the car is possible directly at and near the apartment. Location is absolutely quiet. For me, the location was perfect for excursions to nearby destinations such as Veste Coburg, Veste Rosenberg, Bamberg, etc. If you want to hike, you will find the area very suitable. All in all, thank you to Julia and Oliver for leaving their apartment!
