Cottage Retreat by the Bay

The cottage bay retreat is in the lower level of our character home. My adult daughter and I live upstairs. We are located across the street from sandy Cordova Bay beach which is what makes staying in Cordova Bay so special. There is abundant sea life with otters, seals, eagles, crabs and a wonderful sandbar to explore tidal pools at low tide. It’s a great place to kayak or paddle board. Bike trails to Victoria are 1 block away. Come back from the beach and relax in this rustic stylish space.

For travelers or mainland commuters, Victoria International Airport and the Swartz Bay ferry terminal are just moments away. We are located in beautiful Cordova Bay. The area is a favorite to locals and tourists. Cordova Bay has an expansive beach. We are a short 1 min walk to beach access and the Beach House Restaurant - closed, Mattick's Farm is a 1 km walk away. Mt Douglas trails and park is a short drive away. The guest suite is on the second floor of our house. It is spacious, fully equipped and has two private entries. There are beautiful views of the ocean, Mt Douglas, San Juan Islands and Mt Baker.

Centrally located, we’re 15-20 minutes from the ferry, airport, and downtown, 10 minutes to Butchart Gardens, and 5 minutes to great hiking and biking. Nearby, you’ll find charming farms and restaurants. The closest bus stop is 2 km away. Your suite includes a fridge, microwave, Keurig, and kettle for basic meal prep. No smoking or scented products, please!

Located within walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants! 10min stroll gets you to gorgeous Elk Lake Park, 5min walk to Commonwealth leisure Center and 7min drive to Cordova beach.

Peaceful Heritage Home at Elk Lake

NO CATS ALLOWED . My place is close to the beach and across the road from Elk Lake. The apartment is only 15 minutes away from all major tourist attractions that Victoria has to offer. Other close amenities include Butchart Gardens, the Commonwealth pool, mini putt, the Cordova Bay Golf Course and Public transport as well as an off-the-lead .year around dog beach. It is also a three day minimum stay My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and your dog.
