The Stable is a spacious property with everything you need for your stay. The bedroom is upstairs with a large & comfy bed & ensuite bathroom. The lounge area has various board games, books & foosball table to keep children & adults entertained. The kitchen & dining room is large and sunny. There is also a downstairs bathroom and utility room with washing machine. Yvonne was great to communicate with - quick to answer any questions. The fresh milk and scones on arrival was a nice touch. The Stable is well located for walks directly from the property or a short drive to the Forest of Dean. We enjoyed pizza & beer at the tap room at Bespoke Brewery in Littledean, dinner at Post in Newnham (highly recommend) & cider tasting at Severn Cider in Awre. The Little Barn is a lovely property as part of the owner's larger home set in beautiful gardens. It's a great location as you can walk in the country straight from the house, there is a good pub less than 5 mins away with nice food and amazing views and you can pop into Bath on the park and ride bus, the best of both worlds - city and country! Our visit didn't go to plan as my husband was ill but Kate and Andrew were super responsive and very helpful and flexible as we navigated this. We would highly recommend this place for a trip to Bath.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jay Barn! While the house is on a busy road, it felt very private once on the property. We stayed over the Easter weekend and were doing lots of baking and cooking - the kitchen had every appliance you could need. The house was spotless, spacious, and we felt at home immediately. A car is essential as there is nothing realistically in walking distance, but pubs a 2 minute drive. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend away with family or friends. Lovely homely stay, very comfy beds and sofa, well equipped kitchen and brilliant hot tub! Donna was so welcoming, helpful and responsive if needed. We went on some great days out to Glastonbury and Wookey Hole, plus Tyntesfield. The area was very quiet, the road did not bother us at all and we had an excellent meal at the local pub the Litton, would highly recommend.

What a beautiful home and location! Perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. Host and owners on site was excellent, giving local recommendations and freedom to explore the amazing surroundings. House was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed.

Fantastic place to stay. We visited with our young daughter and dog & we had everything that we needed - hosts simply can’t do enough for you. Fab location as well with loads of places to visit that are only a short drive away.

We had a fantastic stay at Louise's lovely barn. It was spotless, exactly as photos showed and myself, my husband and our two children immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. Louise was very helpful prior to and during our stay and has gone to a lot of effort to ensure the barn was well equipped, clean and homely with some nice touches such as cookies and tea and coffee facilities on arrival, plenty of household supplies as well as games, books, films and suggestions of things to do and places to go in the area. We really enjoyed a recommended walk to visit St Antony's Well but the best part was enjoying the warm, dry weather in the barn, the garden and its beautiful surroundings. We only wish we had stayed for longer! We are very much hoping to return. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

Great place to stay, with much to see and do in and around. We came to give our grandson a Castle experience, and covered five in two days plus a river trip...We were blessed with fabulous weather and He had a blast! Everything in the accommodation was well thought out and comfortable, with rapid response to any questions. Very happy to recommend. Thank you Charlie.

We had a lovely weekend in the Cotswolds to celebrate a very special bday! The house was amazing and we would love to come again. If I’m being critical I have one issue - black out blinds would be a great addition! The velux above the bed with no blind meant we were up at 5am! But that aside it’s a great place in a great location and a lovely pub within walking distance. It was good to see the RAF connection! Thank you!

What a stunning home had absolutly everything and more than you needed very attentive hosts and what a lovely gesture of a welcome pack we came for a chilled break and that’s what we got we would love to can’t me back our dog loved it too

Charming barn conversion right in the heart of Childrey. Tastefully furnished and well appointed. Mel was a very accommodating host; responding quickly to my questions and providing pro-active advice. And the extended check-out (subject to availability!) was particularly welcome.

We had such a lovely stay at the barn. The photos really don't do it justice, and I felt like we found a real steal. It was a great base for exploring Glastonbury and ham wall. The beds were comfortable and the house well equipped. We had a small issue with the WiFi and Michelle immediately responded to messages about it and sent someone over to look at it. We asked if we could check out half an hour later and Michelle kindly obliged. I really appreciated her flexibility and how seriously she takes hosting. We hope to stay again

We recently stayed at Emma’s Barn and honestly, it was one of the most relaxing and beautiful experiences we’ve had. The setting is absolutely stunning – peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop for a restful escape. The barn itself is immaculate and thoughtfully designed with everything you could possibly need. As a bit of fun, we decided to play our own version of “Four in a Bed”, determined to find even the smallest fault (especially after Emma confidently told us everything we needed would be there). But the joke was on us – we couldn’t find a single thing wrong! Everything was spotlessly clean, perfectly maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Emma herself was so kind and helpful throughout our stay, making sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. It’s rare to find somewhere that delivers on every promise, but this truly was a flawless experience. I cannot recommend Emma’s Barn highly enough. Thank you for allowing us to stay here.

Valerie and Marcus were amazing hosts and made us very welcome. Their place is exquisite and clean & spotless with every amenity catered for. Lovely little touches, like delicious homemade cake and wine on our arrival. We felt at home straight away and we're so comfortable and relaxed we wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights! Location is perfect for exploring the beautiful county. Amazing views out of the windows of the farm animals too. Thank you to Marcus for his recommendations on local walks and eateries. It was a really beautiful place to stay. The kitchen is a thing of beauty. The character is striking wherever you look, with a lovely dining and sitting area. You need to be agile for the spiral staircase, but the ascent is worth the effort.
