Jimmy was an amazing host along with Cowboy, his horse. It was a private location very suitable for a romantic getaway. We made all our meals there. The kitchen was well equipped. Jimmy always made himself available for questions or concerns as well as giving us space and privacy. Thanks Jimmy

The Inn at the General Store was a great place! Our family of 4 adults, 2 teenage boys, and a toddler was very comfortable. We had more than enough space to relax. Our trip included a visit to China Peak for snowboarding, it was an easy drive to China Peak. We planned to have a very low-key, restful weekend away as a family and the space provided the right atmosphere for us to do just that. We were already familiar with the town of Big Creek so we knew it would offer what we were looking for. For travelers looking for a more remote, quiet atmosphere this is a great choice. The kitchen had all of the essential tools for our cooking needs. The whole house was decorated so cute and all the spaces were used really well! The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean, and the amount of natural sunshine was wonderful in the living room. The town as a whole is delightful. Friendly community. Emil & Stephanie were great hosts and very communicative and responsive.

Beautiful cozy cabin minutes from Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. The wood burning stove and watching the sunset over the rolling hills were thr cherry on the top! Hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with. I would recommend arriving while the sun is out as you may lose cell reception and there are no street lights. Wonderful place to discount for everything!
