“A lovely cosy cottage which is perfect for a couples getaway. Great amenities, included a slow cooker and toastie maker as well which was a good surprise! The hairdryer was very powerful which was great for my thick hair. Great location if you want walks right on your doorstep. Convenient car parking space right outside the front door. Lovely personal touches which included a delicious cake, eggs and milk. Communication was excellent with Jenna and replies were incredibly prompt which made conversing very easy. Thank you very much and we can’t wait to come back ☺️”

“Such a lovely, comfortable little cottage with so many really kind touches. It was my birthday weekend and Emma left a lovely note and some chocolates! There were plenty of blankets and hot water bottles, snacks and breakfast treats including milk in the fridge and condiments if you wanted to cook. Really difficult to fault this cottage, and the communication from Emma was great. We ate at Caudwell’s Mill which is a super little vegetarian cafe, the food at the Grouse and Claret was just ok but convenient as it’s within walking distance and perfect with small children.”

“Little Barn is a lovely place to stay and really great value for what it offers! The hosts were very welcoming, helpful, and kind. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the bathroom (plus a second extra toilet) was sparkling clean and the shower is very spacious! The entire space was very well heated even when we were visiting in winter. The location is lovely, with some views just as you walk out of the driveway. And it's in the middle of the Peak District so easy to explore anywhere from here. Just remember to bring bedsheets, duvet/sleeping bag, and towels! The bunks in the bedroom took me back to my school camp days, very quaint! The bedroom is spacious and can easily fit the luggage of six people (there are six beds total).”
