House vacation rentals in Croatia

We had a fantastic time at this house. It's a 45-minute walk from the center, so that's a lot. You can catch the bus for 2.5 pp or an uber van from 12 euros total. Was great. 5 minutes away is a large supermarket. Really everything that was described was present. There are occasional minor flaws, such as 2 showers that didn't work well with us, but the next day he came right away to make it. When we arrived, there were also some welcome drinks and snacks in the fridge. He had also brought a bottle of booze, a cake and a card for a birthday girl. Super sweet all.

Our stay at Mia’s house in Zagreb was an absolute joy. The home is even more beautiful in person than in the photos, radiating warmth and charm that made us feel right at home. It’s impeccably clean, tastefully furnished, and provided the perfect setting for a memorable stay. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, ensuring we felt completely at ease. What made our visit truly special, however, was Mia’s generosity. When I mentioned we were looking for a special cake for my mother’s 65th birthday, she kindly offered to bake one herself as a gift. The cake was not only a delicious treat but also a beautiful gesture that made our celebration unforgettable. If you are looking for a place to stay in Zagreb, I highly recommend Mia’s house. Her hospitality is extraordinary, and her cakes are simply exquisite. I wouldn’t change a thing about our experience. Thank you, Mia, and your father, for making this trip so special.

perfect host, perfect location .

We throughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend. The place was extremely tidy and well maintained, the layout is one house with two separate floors that break up the rooms, it was great having two kitchens! It is close to the train station which goes straight into Split city centre (cheaper than the bus). The hosts were very accommodating for our group and made sure we had everything that we needed, thanks again Ana & Mateo!

Ivan makes you feel like you're at home. Check-in with him was extremely pleasant as he acts multilingual [Croatian, English, German] There were all the necessary resources and much more (coffee maker, hair dryer, Netflix access, pool accessories). Any questions we had were answered through Airbnb within 20 minutes [e.g. shopping] The entire holiday was rounded off in a special way, from the welcome vesper plate to the homemade apple strudel of his wife. There was also a great entertainment at the end. We will definitely return. Arrived as guests, left as friends. We have rarely met such a thoughtful host. Lovely little house, in a modern style, very well equipped. Great location, big backyard with parking. A large shaded patio is also a huge plus. We are very happy with your stay. The only problem was checking in. I believe the contact number should be provided right away at the time of booking.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is just like it is an the photographs and is so peaceful. I don't think I've stayed anywhere as quiet before. We loved the pool and in the evening watching the sunsets and the bats fly around. Many have commented on the drive to the house, yes it's quite daunting the first time you drive up as it's very steep, but once you've done it once, it's not a problem. The house is about 10 away from Omis, but driving in/out each day was not a problem. There's lots to do nearby from river boat tours, the Zipline, rock climbing, quad biking and kayaking. Omis has some lovely restaurants and shops. The beach to the south of Omis is beautiful, crystal clear blue water. We spent two lovely mornings there. I thoroughly recommend staying here and it's been added to our list of places we'd like to return to one day.

Stayed here with 2 other people. We were welcomed by Sara, who welcomed us very friendly. The place met all our expectations, and was comfortable to stay around here.

We were here with the whole family and everyone was happy and satisfied. It is a very nice house where there is a lot of activities for the children. It wasn't boring for a second. The chickens did not disturb but were welcome guests. Sandra was always available for questions and gave us great tips. The location is more than optimal. No matter what direction , everything is quickly accessible and there is a lot to offer everywhere. All in one : a clear recommendation.

If you want a total change of scenery, in a fully renovated fishing house, at the bottom of a small cove, Romano's house is for you. We spent the 3rd week of October there with great pleasure. If most restaurants are actually closed, and the days stop around 6:30 p.m., the absence of tourists, the good weather and a water temperature around 20•C will have been decisive assets.

We had a wonderful week at Lucija's place . Very beautiful location and lovely apartment with gorgeous large terrace overlooking outstanding views of the bay . Lucija is such a lovely host and we were warmly greeted on our arrival - we immediately felt very much at home . The apartment and terrace complete with sun loungers as well as comfy patio chairs & table for dining , has everything you need and very clean ,comfortable, peaceful and safe. There are many areas on the rocks across the road from where you can swim and the supermarket and lovely local bars and restaurants are conveniently just down the road as awell as Hvar town being just twenty minute coastal walk. We enjoyed visiting beautiful Pokonji Dol beach which is a picturesque twenty minute walk - 20 euros for beach loungers and 10 euros for umbrella . Nice beach restaurant too . We feel so grateful to have had such a pefect holiday staying in lucija's home and highly recommend .

We would give 10 stars if that would be possible. Renata's house is simply fantastic. It is a guarantee for a dream lab. On foot you can reach the beautiful city and the sea within 10 minutes, the house and the garden are super well maintained and nicely furnished. The pool is warm and well maintained. We will definitely come back and then stay longer.

The accommodation is a hidden gem which we visited last year and had to visit again. Mariana is always very helpful and responsive to communication making the trip less stressful. The moment we walked in you are treated to a reassuring clean smell and the place looked spotless. The hot tub is fantastic with stunning views also. The place is situated in a lovely little town with everything in walking distance with old Dubrovnik 15 minutes away in a car. Will definitely be visiting again

Absolutely perfect location and the house is lovely - the outside in particular is so beautiful and we felt right at home the moment we got there! Ivica was so helpful, responsive and friendly and gave us loads of great local recommendations. Thank you for a brilliant stay!

In the house, everything was as described. The only thing that was surprising was that there was no hot water in the kitchen. The location is absolutely perfect, because there is no house in front of it, you have a perfect view of the Caribbean Sea. Unfortunately, the path in front of the house has now been extended, so it is not quite as quiet as hoped. Also, the beach on the left side has now been filled with gravel, so the naturalness has unfortunately been lost. But unfortunately that's so common in Croatia now. But these are really just little things. All in all, a wonderful vacation in a beautiful house with a great location.

Lovely, convenient apartment, walking distance from city center, matches pictures and description. Has everything you might need during your stay in Zadar. Very friendly and responsive host and also her parents. Overall great place! :)

We stayed at Lana's house for a week and enjoyed it very much. Everything was very clean and tidy. Everything we needed was available and we could always ask Lana for advice. The beach was about 5 minutes away on foot and also in the old town you were relatively fast by car. We would absolutely recommend the place!

The place had everything. It was in a beautiful location. Peaceful. High quality villa, and had everything you needed whilst you stayed. (Very practical too) We would return to this gorgeous place again. Tomislav was super responsive whenever we had a question and he helped guide us to the answer. The villa is a very relaxing place. My kids loved playing in the clear water bay on a paddle board and snorkelling. Afterwards they would have fun in the pool whilst we prepared dinner in a lovely outdoor dining area. The photos don’t really get across how nice it is. Having air con in all rooms was a treat due to the heights of summer. The place was extremely clean when we arrived and we treated this special place like home. I would recommend a car to get to Milna the local marina town, and further a field to visit places. We also took a boat trip out to visit the various islands. It was so pretty, with emerald green oceans and ‘to die for’ sunsets.
