Family-friendly vacation rentals in Damaia

We had a wonderful time at Jorge’s place. The house is wonderful, has everything you need. The pictures really don’t do it justice! It’s huge and beautiful and very comfortable. We travelled with our 2 young children (2 &4) and it was perfect. The outside space is also lovely, nice pool and outside seating with sun or shade. The area was lovely, supermarkets etc nearby. Also went to an amazing beach and restaurant on Jorge’s recommendation. Communication throughout was easy and helpful. They even stocked the fridge for us with dinner on our first night. Couldn’t ask for more, thank you! We’ll be back.

Excellent stay in the heart of Lisbon. Ariane welcomed us in an extremely kind and considerate way to her apartment, despite a later arrival than expected. Everything is done to feel right at home, it lacks neither space nor comfort or equipment. The very central area is ideal for visiting Lisbon, and quiet at night even though it may seem a little less secure than other areas of Lisbon. just note that the stairs are a little steep but as I think all over the old center of Lisbon. Thanks again to Ariane for the wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

Ana and Jorge's flat is lovely - clean, quiet and comfortable, in a great area of the city away from the busy areas but with everything easily accessible. We found Ana and Jorge to be very kind and generous hosts. We felt very much looked after. Lisbon is a beautiful and interesting city and this is the perfect flat for a lovely holiday. Walk five minutes to the viewpoint at the top of Parque Eduardo for the most stunning view!

what a nice Host, very helpful. With children, the swimming pool and jacuzzi are a party. Also close to a very nice surf school and good fish restaurant. Would definitely want to go there again.

Amazing! Just like the photos! Private, peaceful, super clean and perfect for our group of 12! Communication was also great and we booked yoga and a bbq chef through the host both of which I recommend! Will absolutely be back to stay!

We loved the sparrows nest! It was perfect for two couples with divided bedrooms that felt very private. It was an easy walk to restaurants, the train station, and tour buses. We would definitely stay here again!

Juan is the BEST! Super responsive and always available- he had the best recommendations. There was a blackout in Portugal that caused us to have to stay a few extra days and Juan helped us and let us stay another night. Truly a great man and would come back.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

We had a great time staying. Clean, light, spacious apartment super well equipped from the kitchen to the bathrooms Parking in front but we benefited from the garage. Everything is thought and organized to receive us... internet WiFi board games, coloring all for all ages, and small tasting basket 😊 Thanks to Maria and Mr who welcomed us We recommend

Sofia was a very proactive and friendly host. All key information were promptly provided days prior to check-in. Easy self-access with the instructions provided. Rooms were ready and property was clean by the time we arrived. It is a 10-20 minutes commute to certain shops at late hours, however, the privacy is worth its keep. There is supermarket super close by, for us was unfortunate due to the time we would arrive everyday at the property meant they were always closed, but those seeking a holiday, that would be no issue. Lovely spacious living room with doors that you see straight out to the swimming pool. As we were there mainly for business purposes, we did not manage to have usage of certain available amenities - but worth to those coming in for a holiday. Sofia was also always efficient in responding, regardless of time (unethical on my part to message pas midnight) nonetheless, she would respond right away. Beautiful home and an amazing host.

This place really has a great view. You can see some of Sintras amazing castles from the back yard ( if its not foggy, which is common in this area). The location is very peaceful, great running trails ( lots of hills) and a functional grill. If you have a car it’s always parking available on the street. The house had everything we needed and would definitely come back if we would stay in Sintra again.

This Airbnb was exactly what my group was looking for! The house looked just like the photos, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. Upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Rudy’s mother, Sylvie, who kindly introduced us to the space. The pool and outdoor seating area were lovely additions, and having a walkable grocery store nearby was super convenient. Rudy and Sylvie were very responsive and made us feel truly welcome. We would absolutely stay here again—thanks for a wonderful experience!

The checkin was seamless, Mauricio checked in regularly with us to see how we were getting on. The house was exactly as described and seen in the photos. A real bargain!

We had our wedding at this beautiful villa and also spent several days here with our guests—it was truly unforgettable. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The garden is stunning and the views created the perfect backdrop for our celebration. They prepared the catering with traditional food, and everyone absolutely loved it. Highly recommended!

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

We had a great, restful time at Lurdes despite rainy weather. We were very warmly welcomed and provided with great sightseeing and restaurant tips. Elisabeth was always available for us and very quick to respond. The ocean view from the deck is amazing! The nearby beach (we would recommend a car) has great bars and clear water. We had a great time at casa lua at Quinta da Bella vista!! It is very close or walkable to the great attractions like Quinta da regaleira. You may still want to take a tuktuk to the big attractions like Peña palace and regaleira as parking is hard to find there however parking at this airbnb is perfect and included. We stayed in February so the pool was there but chilly. My kids had a blast on the trampoline which we had not expected, so a lovely surprise! The property and property manager Dinesh was very flexible with our late arrival and very helpful during our stay. We would absolutely come back in future!!!
