Cottage vacation rentals in Dax

It was a great stay for us at Cecile & Jean-Louis. The cottage in the enchanted forest was very comfortably furnished. We didn't miss anything. The heating worked great. Also highly recommended in rainy weather. An absolute highlight to explore the area on foot with a dog. There are a lot of walking trails in the area. Especially the Centre de Biodiversité Jean Rostand has a great circular path and is right around the corner. Another highlight was the hot tub we used in the evening. Jean-Louis prepared him with a lot of love for detail, so you have a great experience here. When we are in the area, we'll be back for sure. We highly recommend it.

We enjoyed the layout and decoration as well as the location. Everything is planned to make you feel at home. The camp is very quiet. We'll be sure to talk about it around us. The welcome is very warm. There's nothing missing from the chalet.

Absolutely perfect, in every way. The house is located in a peaceful haven but with everything you need within 5 min drive, ideal for enjoying a peaceful evening after a day at the beach or walking. Our 3-year-old daughter felt at home there, which was especially convenient on rainy days. I recommend it without reservation, and our hotel was extremely pleasant and responsive. Thank you again for this relaxing vacation.

we had 3 great weeks even if the weather was not nice, the place makes you feel good and chill. 5 minutes from the 1st beaches, on foot or bike for the Landes forests, close to the village with a small simple and efficient market on Wednesdays. Good communication with the renters of their own house. Solene, Olivier and the kids are adorable. It's a plus for the stay.

A family trip (2 parents and 2 children aged 3 and 1) that went wonderfully. Anne-Cécile was available and the welcome was well prepared. The house is spacious and the space outside is huge. The kids had a lot of fun. The village is dynamic in summer with the market every day and various activities every week. The accommodation is 15 minutes from a beach and a pretty lighthouse and at a good distance from many activities that are nearby. Very good place, and thank you again to Anne-Cecile for the welcome and provision of this beautiful accommodation.

We had a pleasant stay at Sharon's . Very nice typical Basque house, very well equipped with very good quality materials. We were hosted very well by Matteo, who gave us good advice on things to do in the corners since he is from the region . Walking distance to the center of Espelette is a plus to discover this beautiful city . The exteriors are a big plus with its beautiful terrace and lawn area overlooking the river which allows you to enjoy the beautiful sunny days. I highly recommend this house , nothing is missing but to enjoy!!!! Thanks to Sharon 😉

Wonderful stay. We arrived relatively late and were greeted by the hosts who gave us a brief tour despite the hour. They kindly warmed the house with a fire roaring in the stove, where an authentic farm table and cozy setting set the tone for our stay. It was there where we found plenty of games and books to pass the time, and where we gathered around the table for authentic French dinner prepared in the small kitchen. The house is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and all your basic kitchen needs. Instructions were clearly spelled out in the "welcome" binder, and WiFi connection was strong enough to communicate with family back home and even stream videos at the end of the day. There's plenty of area to have your own space, since rooms are staggered between two floors. Our favorite part was the outside patio overlooking the manicured lawns where birds sang from the treetops. Owners David and Julia were very responsive and communicative to all our requests. Highly recommend!

Thank you for this stay, the house is very family, shaded and allowed us to enjoy the Landes region during our visit... Bike trails nearby, festival of the neighboring village, and especially the ocean with an ultra-family and friendly beach. We are delighted with our stay and the equipment of the house which has everything on hand (the group cooks were delighted!). Isabelle (the owner) and Eloise were able to answer our questions and recommend good places on site (we loved spending some time at the sunset at the casserole at the beach, great tips). Our 2-year-old son was able to enjoy the garden almost every day safely with a small plastic bathtub to cool off before departing for the beach... in short, it was a treat... 🥰

Maeva's house is a real showcase to preserve. The space is perfect for people who like to capture the spirit of a place in an intimate and refreshing natural environment. The landlord is very delicate and warm. Thank you Maeva for this break at your place.

Hello, we spent 5 nights at 5 and it was very nice🙂 the house is large and functional, the small garden very well equipped with direct access to the forest, it's great. Second rental of this mobile home. Angela is always very welcoming and friendly. Available for check-in and checkout. The mobile home is very well located in the campsite. Quiet but right in front of the activity center. And the campsite's activity park. we could watch the kids at the playground with pretty structures from the windows of the mobile home. Camping staff are nice and the water park is nice. We'll be there again.

What a beautiful hidden gem surprise! Dominic is a super host, caring and always there when you need her. The cottage is located in an area full of French country essence , and it is decorated with all short of beautiful local details which help you to live the French experience in full. We will definitely try to come back!

This house is really well equipped and well decorated, it feels very nice and Mariette is friendly . The house is well placed with a garden, you can park the vehicle there without problem.

Everything was perfect, we are delighted with our stay. The bungalow was very pretty, comfortable and well equipped (even for our baby). We also loved the peaceful location in the holiday village among the pine trees, right next to the pond for beautiful walks. Before we arrived and during the stay, the communication with the hosts went very well. Thank you very much! We'll be back with pleasure.
