Vacation rentals with beach access in De Fryske Marren

A beautiful little place to stay. Very clean and tidy. We lacked nothing,we will be back. Very centrally located and you could walk to everything.

We had a lovely stay at Anne’s house in Makkum. The house is beautiful and directly on the canal. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. We felt very happy to be there and very comfortable. Anne and Paul are lovely hosts. They really made us feel welcome and gave us lots of good advice for interesting places to cycle to nearby. They are very accommodating and helpful. There were some lovely little touches, like beer in the fridge and cake when we arrived. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay and for exploring south Friesland.

We enjoyed our short break very much. The quiet and cozy location was rounded off by the only 15-minute walk to the almost private beach on EuroParcs. The complex (an old farm) and the apartment are very clean. The apartment itself was probably just recently renovated. The landlord is very friendly and committed. I'm sure we'll be back.

We were a group of 5 friends. The place was quite nice and enough for our needs.

Characterful house in a beautiful central location in the middle of Workum. All the fun things can be walked within a few minutes. Definitely recommended.

The apartment was modern, clean and well equipped – everything from the kitchen to the bathroom was right. The location is particularly notable: an absolute dream for anglers! We visited the town of Sneek, which is about 15 minutes away and into the town of Joure, which is about 25 minutes away. Unfortunately, in bad weather, there are hardly any alternatives to do anything else. This should not be considered a criticism of the owner of this apartment, it is just a small note for younger couples. Communication with the host was friendly and straightforward. Overall a completely successful stay – I will be happy to come back!

The accommodation is perfect! Everything is newly decorated and renovated, it lacks nothing. The living room with integrated kitchen is large, plus a small dining area. The kitchen offers all the amenities of microwave, gas stove large fridge, plenty of dishes and cooking utensils as if you were at home. From the balcony you can see the beach, enjoy a coffee in the morning and watch the hustle and bustle on the street in the evening. Although there is a lot going on during the day, it is pleasantly quiet in the evening. Through the campsite next door there is a good infrastructure: from the daily open supermarket to restaurants and snacks of all kinds to water sports. The parking space behind the house is worth gold, because parking is scarce during the day. You can walk in 3 minutes to the beautiful, large beach. The very flat bay is perfect for surfing and SUB and of course for kids. We were only there for 2 days, 2 weeks next time:-)

First of all, we were very satisfied with the Air Bnb! In key points: - Great house - very bright living room and kitchen - beautiful well-kept garden. Plenty of space to grill and play badminton at the same time - the jetty is huge! We had two inflatable boats and a 10 meter yacht in front of the house - very quiet area. Hardly any cars, very quiet. - From the living room you can see the ships driving across the canal. There's always something to see. - good beds and mattresses - we all slept well - the Air Bnb was very clean - Well designed fly screens are attached to the windows, which can be completely rolled up. Very great! Overall a successful house! We felt very comfortable as a family and will definitely come back!

We visited the air benb with 5 people during the European ice skating in Heerenveen. The apartment exceeded our expectations, spacious and nicely decorated! It was very comfortable! Good and pleasant contact with the hostess via the app. Could have any questions! Certainly subject to repetition, and by mouth advertising we will definitely recommend this air benb!

We were there for the third time and felt super comfortable again. Starting with the communication, the location directly on the water and the great equipment of the apartment, we liked very much. Like every time, it was very clean and tidy again. We will definitely be back and look forward to it!

We had a great stay with friends at Tanjas house and loved the big kitchen with eating table and living room

The house was as described. Stayed here with 4 adults and a dog and had plenty of space. It was very clean like the bathroom and floors and there was no dust to be found. Also in October we could enjoy the terrace. There are also fun games, books and movies available. From the house you can walk in Lemmer or towards the Brekken. Nice host Evert is very pleasant in communication.

Had a very nice stay! Upon arrival, some "start-up problems", these were immediately seriously picked up by Gaby and well resolved. We felt right at home in this airbnb. Tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. If you are looking for a quiet location: look no further :) Beautifully located on the water. It is remote, but a car is necessary for a message.

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

The hosts Gjis and Sophie were very sweet. If we had any questions, they were immediately available and the location was great. Free parking was right outside the door and also a Spar right next door. The beach was a few minutes' walk away. In the immediate vicinity were also restaurants. Quick access to the highway. The apartment left nothing to be desired in terms of amenities and was lovingly furnished. It was also great that you could connect your smartphone or similar multimedia devices directly to the TV. All in all a nice place and we would definitely come back! Julia and Tommy

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was very nice and clean. Just a little smaller than shown in the pictures, but completely ok for two people. We were very satisfied with everything, especially Johanna was extremely friendly and accommodating! We were primarily in Stavoren for fishing and had a lot of fun and beautiful fish. Thanks for everything!

APARTMENT: Fantastically beautiful view directly on the Jisselmeer. Waking up in bed was never nicer. Very quiet, super nice hosts. Despite advertised "dog apartment" very clean. AREA: A supermarket is a 5-7 minute walk daily. A cafe is almost right outside the front door.

Super central located in the beautiful Urk. It was only a 10 - 15 minute walk to the idyllic sailing harbor with very nice restaurants. We had everything we needed in the apartment. Thank you so much for the beautiful welcome and the hospitality to Jans

Everything tiptop. Marcel and his wife help with everything, are very friendly and relaxed. We rented Marcel's electric boat and did a tour through the canals and lake. It was wonderful. Marcel gave us a good introduction. Thank you!
