House vacation rentals in De Fryske Marren

Our stay was really super everything was as described. We were welcomed super warmly and said goodbye. It was really a great weekend again and again.

The house was very nice, the many seats outside were especially great. It was all comfortable and nicely decorated. The surroundings were fantastic and quiet. Too bad there was no water in the pool. It was a nice time to relax. Thank you. 🧘🏻‍♀️

A very cozy apartment with plenty of parking facilities and we were able to park our bicycles in the barn. The hot tub and sauna are heated with wood, so you have to plan for 4 hours for the hot tub when you heat it for the first time. It's much faster the next day. The water will be changed on request. The sauna takes about 1 hour to get hot. We felt very comfortable at the place. We especially enjoyed the tranquility. Everything you need is there, although: a clothes rack would be good and a larger bowl for salad in the kitchen. (But that's whining to a high standard ;-) ) Harlingen is about 10 km by bike and about 16 km to Franeker. Everything is easy to reach by bike. The hosts are super nice and helpful.

Last weekend I had an unforgettable stay with friends in a beautiful house surrounded by nature. The house was spacious and comfortable, ideal for our group. The area offered plenty of opportunities for relaxation and adventure, with beautiful walks and a visit to a charming village. It was a perfect weekend to enjoy and recharge together, and we look forward to coming back again.

Lovely little cottage right on the water. The house is exactly as described, perfectly clean and well maintained. The location is fantastic, right on the water but also with a small pool that our children delighted in. A fun canoe and boat to take a tour around the surrounding waters. Highly recommend for a peaceful few days with children.

We had a great time in this beautiful cottage in the countryside. The welcome was very warm, the cottage was clean and very characterful. We completely relaxed and the jacuzzi was great. We expected the pool to be open, but in the end we had a great time swimming in the Canada lake and with long walks. Highly recommended for anyone looking for beautiful nature and tranquility.

Fantastic stay, wonderful beds, everything fresh and many extra's were thought of. Carla also came to introduce himself and inquire whether everything was going well. Very nice!

Very nice stay in Sneek. Nicely decorated, clean and spacious. Petra is friendly and responds super quickly to messages. In short and a very nice Airbnb with all amenities like home, cared for by a nice host!

Anke is an amazing host. We used the beautiful historic city villa for a family reunion with 7 people and would book again at any time.

We enjoyed our stay with the family. Both in the living-dining room and in the garden there is enough space and sun spots to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We would recommend the house to anyone.

We really had a great time at Alec’s place, beautiful surroundings next to water, easy to access with free parking by car. Alec even let us use his kayak so we all had a lot of fun there. Thank you so much Alec and we hope to have chance to stay at your lovely house again!

Everthing was fine, Simon was a great host!

We felt totally comfortable at the place. It was quietly located and yet only a few minutes walk from supermarket, restaurant and cafes. We were able to park in front of the house, behind the house you look at the roof and behind it is the sea. There was a small garden where we could sit, there was enough seating possible and a barbecue. The accommodation is already a bit spoiled, but has its charm, it was not super clean, but was immediately offered to fix that. Communication was great, they responded quickly. For 3 people with a dog it was perfect. Stavoren is very nice and we were able to relax and get to know a few very great restaurants. We will be happy to come back if it suits!

I highly commend Suzans and Martin's house. Large, comfortable, equipped with everything you could ask for, and with wide windows overlooking manicured lawns on two sides, it was almost too difficult to leave the house to explore the area. But we left and enjoyed our excursions to Giethoorn and Urk very much. Martin made the takeover and return of the house relaxed and uncomplicated. My family and I highly recommend this house.

Such a nice stay at this beautiful, peaceful home. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.

A wonderful place to stay with a very friendly hostess. Everything was very lovingly decorated and the garden quite enchanting. Thanks to Corine's detailed description, we found our place immediately. We are more than satisfied and had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. We will be happy to come back.

Lovely place to stay in a wonderful location. You will sail to the Heegermeer with your own falcon, but at the door it is nice and quiet and you can enjoy the sun in the garden. The house is well taken care of, with BBQ, washing machine and a second refrigerator (very convenient). We had a lovely weekend here!

Thanks to Jos for his clean and well-equipped accommodation! Too bad the weather was not favorable to enjoy the terrace.

We had a wonderful week in Friesland. The cottage was fine: enough available for wonderful vacation, wonderful beds and also bedding fine for each other. The outdoor furniture was also in order with the hammock as a topper. It is also nice to be able to play tennis. Our boat was a short distance from the cottage, being able to sail and cycle.
