We had a lovely stay at Anne’s house in Makkum. The house is beautiful and directly on the canal. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. We felt very happy to be there and very comfortable. Anne and Paul are lovely hosts. They really made us feel welcome and gave us lots of good advice for interesting places to cycle to nearby. They are very accommodating and helpful. There were some lovely little touches, like beer in the fridge and cake when we arrived. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay and for exploring south Friesland.

I really enjoyed my stay in this lovely apartment. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. The town and surrounding area is quiet and beautiful.

Very nice apartment, very comfortable bed, very friendly host. The next day the host gave us a detailed introduction to the surrounding cities and how to drive a boat to visit nearby attractions. Unforgettable travel experience, we will come again.

Tine's apartment is beautifully located in the countryside, on a small tranquil campsite that further offers facilities, such as a good and secured parking space for our bikes! Tine and her family are super helpful, there is no question left unanswered :-) Bedroom 1 and living room are very tastefully decorated and offer enough space and good light, the terrace and view are pure joy and I was able to use it wonderfully for yoga, wonderful! The only downside if you want to stay in 2 separate bedrooms as well as well-friended adults: the 2nd bedroom is the children's bedroom and unfortunately... windowless, this is not everyone's thing and above all, not an equivalent retreat... but since we were actually on the road a lot, it has been OK. As a couple, the apartment is ideal, and I'd love to come back, then with my husband :-) and longer!

we spent a lovely two days in this place. The sea is easily accessible on foot, right across the street from a good shopping opportunity and very nice houses and streets. We would love to spend a long weekend here again.

The apartment was perfect for us. Clean, central location, plenty of dishes and consumables such as coffee, dishwashing tablets or laundry detergent in generous amount available

Like the first time, everything was great. Very clean..everything lovingly prepared. Clara (landlady) came by once to ask if everything is okay! But EVERYTHING is really right here! From the apartments, everything is within walking distance, city center and also the beach. We will be happy to come back!!!

Stayed here with great pleasure. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The house was very clean and equipped with everything. Host is kind and helpful I'll definitely be back sometime.

We stayed in this lovely cottage for a week in early April. It is located on a marina, surrounded by water and meadows, we enjoyed the wide view and sat a lot in the wind-protected seating area. Overall, the weather was much better than expected, and when it got cold, the oven made the living room very cozy for us. The house is large, beautiful and functionally furnished, with eight people we had enough space. We will be happy to come back!

A very nice apartment located on the quiet canal, very nice and furnished to a high standard. Everything worked and the apartment was not out of the ordinary. Very clean with a lovingly landscaped garden. Short distances to the beach and restaurant and communication went smoothly with the friendly owners. Highly recommended!

Anke is an amazing host. We used the beautiful historic city villa for a family reunion with 7 people and would book again at any time.

Johanna's house in Joure is completely as you see on the pictures. It is in the center of Joure but still very quiet and private. It is tastefully furnished, sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. Communication with Johanna was smooth and friendly. In short, a 5 star stay and definitely recommended!

First of all, we were very satisfied with the Air Bnb! In key points: - Great house - very bright living room and kitchen - beautiful well-kept garden. Plenty of space to grill and play badminton at the same time - the jetty is huge! We had two inflatable boats and a 10 meter yacht in front of the house - very quiet area. Hardly any cars, very quiet. - From the living room you can see the ships driving across the canal. There's always something to see. - good beds and mattresses - we all slept well - the Air Bnb was very clean - Well designed fly screens are attached to the windows, which can be completely rolled up. Very great! Overall a successful house! We felt very comfortable as a family and will definitely come back!

We really enjoyed the Christmas holidays and the turn of the year in your beautifully decorated house. We felt like at home from the first second. Decorated with a lot of love for detail, even with a decorated Christmas tree, invited you to linger - whether at the large dining table with many board games or in the cozy sitting area by the crackling fireplace when reading a book. The property located directly on the water is also wonderful for watching nature and birds at sunrise or sunset or taking beautiful walks in the area with the dog and visiting small towns. During our stay we lacked nothing. Paul was a fantastic host who proactively responded to open questions within minutes. We also had the opportunity to check out later. The house is the perfect place to get away from the stressful everyday life and unwind.

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and approachable hosts and are helpful in every way and open to questions. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable due to a generous interior design. Every morning, Sharon prepared a lavish and very varied breakfast that we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: You can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. In short, we can warmly recommend the place to everyone. Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

Great location, host was super friendly and helpful, and the appartment was clean and tidy. Feels homey and very recommended!

We have often rented the accommodation in the last few months, which we liked very much.

We stayed for a short 2 days to visit the open day at Meppel NHLstenden with our daughter. It was a perfect place to stay, in the middle of the city where we could walk to everything. Convenient parking garage just a block away. Place looked just like in the pictures, very colorful and quirky.

We had a lovely stay. The place was private and had everything well-deserved rest for a few days. Bed was comfy and view was beautiful. The waterfront seating was our favorite. The surroundings are great too! We cycled over 80 kilometers. We definitely recommend this place 👍

Good value place, nice host, great location. It was a quiet place and lots of space. The ladder to the 2nd bed is quite steep so be aware. There is a sofa bed available if this one is a struggle to get to.
