Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

Wounded Warrior Cabin at Grey Valley

The Wounded Warrior Cabin is located near the "Tail of the Dragon," Cherokee NC, NOC, Fontana Village and many other family-friendly activities. A trout stream runs along the front of the cabin and overlooks the mountains. There are 3 large bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a game room, wrap around porch, and laundry room. It is close to Lake Santeetlah, making this cabin a perfect getaway for couples, solo adventures, business travelers, families w/kids, large groups and is dogs friendly.

The cabin is equipped with linens/towels and most everything you need to cook a meal., just bring groceries and personal items. This cabin is also handicap accessible. WIFI is now available. Cozy vintage cabin on beautiful Lake Santeetlah. Enjoy the water views from the screened in porch, dip your feet in the clear lake on the private dock, or take a kayak out to explore the coastline. In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest. The famous Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, beautiful Lake Santeetlah, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Appalachian Trail, Fontana Lake, Bryson City , Nantahala, Harris Cherokee and Valley River Casinos are all just a short drive (30-45 min.).
