Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Dehiwala

Renuka is such a gracious host. We stayed in a family room on our first night when we landed in Colombo. She gave us a great recommendation for a dinner spot. Our room initially had only 3 sleeping spots (we were 2 adults and 2 small kids) but she gave us a second room when we requested an extra bed. She also made us a lovely breakfast the next day with some delicious butterfly pea tea she had made. She even gave me some seeds to sow at home. A great first stay to kick off our Sri Lankan adventures!

We had a great time at Subeetha's! The hostess was very friendly, we were able to change for an early check in very spontaneously and we also enjoyed the dinner and traditional breakfast very much ☺️ The rooms are very clean, the space is safe and gives enough privacy, and the spaces are very lovingly designed by the hostess, who is an artist. 2x 1-month-old cat babies were then another highlight. The family who run this private accommodation was extremely friendly and accommodating! They felt welcome right away. We also got a soft drink and in general everyone was very attentive! Location is fantastic, only 2min to the beach and many restaurants within walking distance. The one thing I would complain about was that they forgot to clean the bathroom before we arrived, but I was prepared and did it quickly ;) Thanks to the family for the nice stay!

Priya's place is great! He is a great host and his staff is very friendly. It is close to the airport.

Had one of the best experiences at Sunrise palace, we missed our flight and needed a quick booking for a place to stay, I bumped into Sunrise Palace and instantly was booked in. I got to the air bnb it's in the inside street but once the gate opens it looks beautiful, the place is big, sleeps alot of people, extremely clean, balcony in the rooms, extremely clean washrooms, impeccable stay I had the service was phenomenal, the food was fresh and tasty, we all had the omelet and wow it tasted so healthy and gave us fruits and fresh juice, as well as water bottles. This place is just amazing and I will be back in March thank you so much !

It was a beautiful stay, we could feel very home and without reservation although living in the same house with the host family (in separate Appartement of course). The Family is very very friendly and the dogs lovely and quite. We got delicious breakfast and dinner delivered to our balcony. The garden at the lake is beautiful and we felt peace to wake up with this view. We slept with open doors and fresh air and it was very quite. Everything is possible to get (dinner, scooter rental, massage, beer, airport shuttle, excursions) so it is a great service. We also especially liked that we don‘t have the feeling to have to pay for every small thing like at other places, here the kayaks, bikes and Breakfast are included in the price/for free. The neighbourhood is nice and safe. Thanks for the great stay and hospitality- we are so happyto have found this places for last enjoyable days of our vacation!

We arrived very early compared to check-in time, but they made us settle in and served water and tea. They prepared the room for us as soon as possible and were always very helpful. Sanjeewa is very present but discreet, very willing to answer any questions. The breakfast was also very traditional and they explained to us all the food and their preparation well. A really nice place, if we'll go back to negombo, I'll be back!

What a nice place located in a really good neighbourhood with cafees and shopping. Nice room, good bed and really friendly staff.

Padminee was a really very kind host. They welcomed us and prepared super breakfasts and gave us helpful information about places to visit. The room was nice and the fan allowed us not to feel the heat. They were really nice and helpful!

We had a great time staying with Srilal as we loved the area which is a bit more quiet and relaxing than other places.

Great room, with air conditioning and hot water. Large and comfortable bathroom. The room overlooks the garden, where the birds fly and the sounds of the jungle can be heard. The house is very clean. The host is an amazingly kind and sociable person who also loves to travel. Constantly treated me to all sorts of goodies. The house is located in a quiet location in a residential area, while within walking distance you can find parks, cafes, restaurants, shops and laundry’s. Also a 15-minute taxi ride is the bus station and the railway station, from which you can go anywhere in Sri Lanka. The center of Colombo is about 20-30 minutes by scooter.

It was a relaxing stay at Michael's. The room was neat and tidy and we felt right at home during our stay. I would definitely recommend their Airbnb for any guests.
