Vacation rentals with a firepit in Destin

We all enjoyed the place. 10 out of 10 for sure. Our next trip back we'll most likely book it again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our favorite part of this Airbnb was the outdoor shower and the beds were super comfortable. I loved the tanning chairs in the backyard too. The location was great because it was a quick walk to the beach and everything was close and easy to drive to. It felt like a very safe neighborhood and we felt relaxed and safe the entire time. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a relaxing and beautiful place to stay. Also, Sheila is very kind and she was quick to respond to any messages/questions that I had. I would definitely stay here again in the future!🥰 Thank you Sheila ❤️

We have been traveling with friends to the Seabreeze Jazz Festival in PCB for five years. The first year we stayed on the 18th floor of a high-rise condo on the beach. At the end of our stay, we decided that did not suit us and we looked for a home to rent. We lucked out and found the Grey Narwhal which is where we stayed the following year. This year (2025) was our fourth consecutive year staying there and we are already booked for next April. The house is exactly as described. It is very comfortable with a kitchen full of all the amenities that we need. Everything in the house is good to excellent quality from the crockery in the kitchen to the bed linens and towels. There’s also some interesting reading material; if you choose to stay at the Grey Narwhal, look for the Ladybird books for adults on the shelf above the couch. Great reading! Paul and Janet are extremely responsive and friendly hosts and have given us great recommendations in the past. Looking forward to 26!

This place was beautiful and such a great deal for our group. We wanted to boat to crab island and this was a close enough stay and big enough for all of us. The hosts were very helpful by giving a handbook on all the things to do around fort walton. They responded quickly when needed and were very accommodating. I would definitely book again!

Fred’s place was great, just as described! We had an issue with the ac at check in and Fred was very good about getting it taken care of. They were sure to reach out and make sure all was well. The beds were really our only issue, too soft for our liking, but we do understand that some people enjoy softer!

I enjoyed opening the curtains day/night. The view is so nice. I can't say enough about our stay. Close to everything but, far enough to have peace .

We had an incredible time here! The view from the condo balcony is stunning. Every morning we had coffee and watched the waves come in, even saw some dolphins. Steps to the white powdery beaches! There was a lot of other activities in the area; fun parks, piers, water sports (jet ski and board rentals all along the beach), fishing. Something for everyone. Walking distance to a couple great restaurants (recommended by our hosts) or a short drive to many other options. Out hosts were so responsive and proactive, offering lots of recommendations and keeping in contact frequently. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone. Thanks for hosting us!

Olivia’s place was peaceful and quiet, great area on the bay with room to play for our kids and they did not want to leave. Walkable to the beach, we would def come back.

We LOVE this place!! Rick and Sylvia made us feel like part of the family. More then everything you need!! Fishing , restraints, beautiful natural surroundings. They gave us helpful tips on restraints, attractions , helped us fish and became good friends. The sweetest hosts we have ever had!! Very friendly but private. They provided everything!! And then some!! Helped us out soooo sooo much on sooo many levels. We came for a rodeo and just wanted a cool place to stay. This is definitely a gem of a place!! The space was super clean and equipped with everything. They also provided a lot of fishing equipment and a kayak and hammock for hanging out in between time. We got to hang out with them a bit, we are social . They are very cool!! Super sweet, helpful friendly, would give the shirt off their back kind of people!! This is what we look for in an Airbnb. They truly care about their guests!! Above and beyond for comfort!! The stay was incredible!! Thank you!! Can't wait to come back!!!

Our stay at Heather’s condo was exactly what was advertised. It’s a beautiful place and in a fantastic location close to the beach and several other stores and restaurants. Heather was always extremely quick to respond to our questions which was very much appreciated. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book with her again. I would highly recommend her and her condo in Destin at The Palms of Destin!

The condo was everything it promises. We enjoyed our stay very much. My only suggestions would be provide pot holders and washcloths. We didn't feel comfortable using the outside grill. A few notes about the building itself. We felt it was not too guest friendly when checking in. All times of the day, luggage carts were kept locked and requested we leave a driver's license until cart was returned. Shopping carts required a refundable $5.00 token purchase.

Apartment was in an amazing location next to the beach and the community itself had everything you look for a vacation. It was really a great location with a very competitive price. No complaints. Loved it. Host was very easy to connect with and communication was easy

My friends, my boyfriend and I spent most of our vacation in the unit! It was perfect for all the nasty weather we had! Very peaceful, clean, and accessible! We were a hop and a skip from the pool. Definitely will be staying here again!

Loved the place. Very homely and clean. Great for 2 people. The horses are absolutely adorable and the best part about this place. The hosts are very kind and quite responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Better than described. Large wooded lot right on the lake with a dock to hang out on. Lots of space. Large rooms. Feels much more remote than it is. Close to groceries, restaurants, etc. We loved staying here!

Yana was an excellent host. She was very informative and helpful. The house was spotless and extremely well decorated with a vibe that felt like home. Also the location of the property was less than 15 minutes away from the Lynn Haven sports complex, where we enjoyed games of pickleball.

If I could give 10-stars I would! I am an airbnb host and can be quite critical on bookings I make. I read so much about Ms. Theresa and was a little hesitant because some reviews made it seem like privacy was an issue ...NOT AT ALL!! I can honestly say that SHE was a HUGE part as to why we enjoyed our stay so much and will ABSOLUTELY be back!! She made us feel at home, made sure we had everything we needed, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She even made my husband a homemade birthday cake! We shared so many laughs and stories together. It was peaceful, serene, and certainly private. The property was gorgeous, had breathtaking views, and so many wonderful things about it that pictures and description don't do a justice! We enjoyed cooking dinner on the outdoor kitchen area on the lake.. but laying down on a bed, under the cabana, watching a movie, next to the fire, on the lake, was THE best part..next to enjoying fresh eggs for breakfast our last morning!

The place was amazing. My family loved it and it was so neat. Every day we were greated with wild turkey and wild deer on the property and it wasn't a far drive to the beach or springs.

the place was just as described if you like a cabin in the woods with few neighbors this is the place! Janet was a great host with very attractive and polite! she took care of all the issues we had! Thank you Janet!
