Vacation rentals with lake access in Diemelsee

A great large and really nicely furnished apartment with a phenomenal view of Lake Eder. The apartment is located in the middle of Waldeck in historic surroundings with old half-timbered houses. Supermarket, restaurants and the castle are within easy walking distance. We were there on a sunny winter weekend and were rewarded with an amazing view of the Edersee under clouds and fog in the sunrise and a great sunset with clear mountain views. The equipment offers everything you want and need ... a good kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of games for children, beautiful bathrooms, a large garden, etc.. All in all a real pearl!

Lovely hillside chalet which was perfect for our stay. A nice outdoor seating area to have coffee and watch the sunrise, or a glass of wine in the evenings.

Marc is an incredibly kind and warm host. Together with my buddy, we had the opportunity to experience and enjoy this pretty and idyllically located cottage and the accompanying tranquility, exactly such a break we had been looking for and needed. Especially if you're from a big city. I can really recommend this tranquil listing to everyone when it comes to unwind and recharge. Thank you Marc, for this lovely time you gave us through your cottage. :)

We were very satisfied , communication was straightforward from the beginning. The place was very clean, the inventory very nice. There were drinks and sweets. There was also an offer for Netflix and Danz on a spacious TV. And at the end , yes WiFi was also available at all times and reception for the mobile phone was also available:-)))) The surrounding area is very nice and quiet. On the lake you can do water skiing and various things. A small beach bar is available. The operators are totally warm and humorous. The bike paths are great and you can eat delicious food in the area. Unfortunately, the facilities such as mini-golf, tennis, soccer field, etc. are currently not usable... But it didn't bother us... We would love to come back :-)

The communication with Heike and Felix (host) was great, all questions were answered immediately and uncertainties resolved. The house is very well maintained and it is everything you need on site. The last but not the guest gift surprised me really positively. This was the first time there but certainly not the last time, but then for longer! Aggregate: Perfect, just great and highly recommended!

We had a lovely weekend at Elke's place. The house is situated in a beautiful park near a lake. There are several options to occupy yourself there. It was great for a trip with the dog and family. The house has everything you need, we felt very much at home. Now around the season it was very quiet and you had nice privacy because few houses were rented during that time.

We, a group of 6 women, felt very comfortable with Christina and Marvin. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and well maintained. Communication with the hosts was straightforward and always friendly, so we were even allowed to stay 2 hours longer on the day of departure. We will definitely be back!

Excellent apartment, tasteful and modern decor, everything worked fine. Everything seemed as good as new (February 2025). Good comfortable beds. Winterberg is nearby by car. Beautiful view. Quiet location. Easy to find. Key exchange went smoothly. In short, not so much to criticize actually.

I had a wonderful stay in this cozy apartment. The area is nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxing vacation. Sebastian was quick to reach and kindly responded to our questions. The highlight was definitely the birds chirping in the bathroom!😅 The apartment was clean and cozily furnished. A small point of criticism was the wifi, which at times didn't work, but after a day it worked again. Unfortunately, the network for phone calls was also not optimal, but it was feasible to call if you run around to find the network😅. Overall, however, it was a great stay and I can only recommend the apartment! Thank you Sebastian for the accessibility!

We had a great few days at the cottage on Lake Silbersee. For the kids, good employment opportunities were within walking distance with indoor playground, indoor swimming pool and playground with toboggan run. The house is quite audible, especially with small children, but very cozily furnished. We felt very comfortable.

Very nice stay at wolfgang. Beautiful park in a special landscape. Short lines with the manager via app. Very neat house with BBQ bikes sunbed for outdoor. And a beautiful view. minus was a creaking staircase but that is a small detail. Highly recommended for a delightful stay

We (family of five with kids aged 6, 11 and 13) had a wonderful stay here at Silbersee. The house was perfect for us with everything we needed for a month’s stay. Really clean and comfortable. Lots for the kids too including the pool in the garden, kids toys and great outdoor spaces. Just a minute’s walk down to the beach/lake. Thomas was a fantastic host - really responsive before we arrived with clear instructions on how to get there. He met us there with the keys and was in contact while were there. Very helpful with tips on where to go and things to do and recommendations for Weissbier! There’s lots to do at Silbersee (including mini golf, indoor and outdoor swimming, the climbing park and bob sleigh) to keep the kids busy and good tracks for running/cycling. There’s also a couple of nice restaurants in Frielendorf about 30 mins walk/5 mins drive. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you, Thomas!
