Absolutely superb stay to switch off and relax. We loved the fact it was so private.... peaceful and away from the crowds. Stunning cottage and it had everything you needed. Claire was so helpful and made us feel welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed the scones and fizz....what a lovely touch! The spa was fabulous...we used it every day! Garden was great for our dog, very secure. We had an amazing short break at UpAlong Cottage. Kim and Simon were brilliant hosts, really friendly and happy to help in every way. The cottage was beautiful and immaculately clean and comfortable - a home from home. Kim and Simon have done an excellent job of providing all the information you need for the cottage, surrounding fields and local amenities and were always happy to offer friendly advice. We had our 6 month old pup with us and she loved playing in the fantastic walking fields surrounding the cottage, the local village is a nice walk through the fields too with two good pubs and well stocked shop. Also, for EV owners like us its perfect with two available chargers and a fantastic night time rate to top up the car ready for the next day's adventures. All in all we would very highly recommend, and we hope to return in the future! Thanks again for a great break...

My sister and I had a lovely stay at Wagtails whilst we explored the area . It was peaceful and quiet with a wonderful variety of birds to hear . Johanne was a friendly helpful host , we enjoyed chatting with her and her son , who helpfully help us with our luggage . Ideal situation for family and dogs . Would recommend highly

Lovely few days at Sophie’s house. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and very close to the Tarka Trail. Sophie was very welcoming and always on hand to help and answer any queries.
