Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Douglas County

I would recommend this to anyone that wants to visit Fergus! This place made you feel at home. Definitely coming back next time I plan a trip!

Debra's little apartment was perfect for our weekend stay. Our main criteria is "allows large dogs" and everything on top of that is a bonus. The location is lovely, it's a brief walk to the local dog park, and is fairly central in Alexandria. They provide condiments, snacks, and a few beverages for your use, which I thought was above and beyond. They also have a Little Free Library which delighted me! My only caution is that if you're a light sleeper, it's only a couple blocks from the train tracks and the trains run through a couple times a night. Luckily I sleep like a brick, so I briefly woke up and thought "Oh, a train" and immediately was able to go back to sleep.

This was an adorable place! It was a little hard with all my items to carry up and down the stairs but otherwise it was wonderful! Thank you!

This beautiful lakeside home was perfect for our family visit. We only had four staying there but it easily could have accommodated twice that number. The house and area were so comfortable it made me wish we could have stayed longer. Very much recommend!

I don’t think you can find a cuter cozier place to stay. Especially in mid winter in Minnesota. The house was the perfect place for my 7 year old daughter and I on our little girls weekend. Located in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown shops & dining. Clean. Adorable decor. Comfortable beds. Kristen was an incredible host & checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. My only complaint was that we didn’t get to stay longer ☺️ highly recommended and we will definitely be back!! 💖

We have a friend group of 10 adults and growing growing children. To find a place that fits all of us comfortably is a challenge, but this place was the perfect size. We had multiple places to hang out and we weren’t on top of each other. We will definitely be back again!

This was a perfect space for a friend board game weekend. The house was spacious for everyone and the backyard and lake view was beautiful.

Kayla’s dog friendly home was just right for our weekend getaway for the women’s state bowling tournament, held at the nearby Garden Lanes. It was only a 10 min drive to get there from the home which was the best option vs usual hotel stays. We hoped for warmer weather & Alexandria had much more recent snow than the twin cities where we had driven from (2.5 hrs away), but Cody had the long driveway cleared & the stairs up to the back door before our arrival. Their home was cozy and all 4 of us had nice comfortable beds. We chose to eat most meals out, but it was nice to have the kitchen for breakfast & snacking. Kayla provided all the house info in a well organized book w/suggestions for good local restaurants. Due to our schedule at the tournament it was perfect that the hosts allowed us to leave a bit later on Sun morning so we didn’t have to rush & my dog could lounge at the house until we returned to pack up for home. Would definitely stay here again; great value. Thanks again

If you're considering Brett and Shelly's place - BOOK IT! I stayed for just one night with a group of women and when it was time to leave, we all agreed that our only regret was not staying longer. The house was beautiful and airy, the couches and bedrooms were perfectly cozy, and the lakefront access with kayaks was the cherry on top. We cooked a couple of meals and anything we forgot to specifically bring we were able to find in the kitchen. The check-out instructions were clear and minimal which is always a plus. I also want to specifically thank Brett and Shelly for being so responsive and flexible with our group when it came to checking in and out. Multiple people in our party said they would earmark this listing for future trips with our groups in their lives.
