Top-rated things to do in Draper

Unique activities hosted by local experts vetted for quality

  • Sip, Snack, Stroll Salt Lake City
Walk downtown Salt Lake stopping at the best coffee shops, cafes and local hotspots for the best downtown has to offer. Have a fun Instagram worthy day of food, drinks and local culture along with tons of tips and suggestions for the rest of your trip. We will also use the local trax train to help you learn how to navigate the city using public transportation. In total we will spend about 3 to 4 hours together visiting some of the most well-known sites in the city such as Temple Square, Gallivan Plaza (one of the sites of the 2002 Olympic games) and Library Square as well as some local favorites such as the Pie Hole, and Ken Sanders Rare Books. Stopping at coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants based on your interests and food preferences. The best part about traveling with a local is that I can adjust to help create the best experience for the group.

  • Swim Inside A Utah Natural Spring Crater
We will start our journey up the canyon as we listen to some tunes and chat as we drive through an iconic Utah road. Once we get to the crater, we will go over some safety tips and enjoy a one hour dip in one of the coolest and most hidden gems in the world. (Water is a consistent 96 degrees. Not as hot as a hot-tub but warm enough to be relaxing) Once our dip in the crater is over, we will head back down to SLC and stop at THE BEST chocolate factory in the city (it is soooo good that they once had their own TV show) where we will drink the best hot (dark) chocolate your lips have ever tasted. Other things to note: Don't know how to swim? Don't worry, for safety reasons, everyone is required to wear a life jacket.

  • Mountain Meditation & Yoga
Start with a moderate hike into the breathtaking Utah mountains where we pass a lake and come to a beautiful clearing where I will guide you through a 50 min yoga and meditation session. You will then have some time to explore and enjoy the peaceful area before we make our way out of the canyon to enjoy the spectacular views of the valley. The hike is 1.8 miles round trip and about 500 ft of elevation gain. The entire experience should take 2.5-3 hours from start to finish.

  • Photo tour around Salt Lake
We will begin our photo walk in the historic downtown near the Temple square and from there we will continue to explore the city and its hidden corners. I will tell you about first settlers, mormon culture and other beautiful places you can visit around Salt Lake. The tour starts around 6-7 pm so we could escape the heat and enjoy famous Utah sunset. Too late for you? Send me a message and let's work something out! I bring along professional DSLR camera to take photos so you don't have to worry about documenting your adventure. I will not only photograph you and your group, but I also photograph the anything you want. We will end up the photo tour in downtown as well. You will get 25-30 EDITED pictures the NEXT day so you can upload as many as you'd like to your Social Media Accounts :)
