Little Farm Getaway

Welcome to my little 8 acre oasis! Being the first farm I’ve ever lived on, I understand the peace and tranquility it can offer those who have never experienced it. Enjoy meeting my horses and mini donkeys, take a walk through my woods, or have a fire! Aside from being just far enough, but just close enough to all the happenings in the city, my newly remodeled private entry, ground level basement apartment offers an escape from the noise and a place to unwind and relax. NO CHORES REQUIRED! 😊

Charming suite, great location

Hosts live on upper floors. Lower level, private suite (stair access) has been designed and decorated for you. It features a living room with gas fireplace, bedroom, and bathroom. Next to St.Olaf college, 1 mile to Carleton and downtown, steps from the Ole Store Cafe. Our house is surrounded by trees, perennial gardens, and adjoins the St. Olaf athletic fields. Unfortunately, this space is not suitable for young children. Also, the stairs may be difficult for someone with physical limitations.

Luxury Barn Cottage and Villa at Hope Glen Farm

The Corn Crib Cottage Barn or Villa is a luxurious and rustic 1100 square foot space. The Corn Crib originally used to dry corn and animal housing. This is a very rare historical building built in the 1920's The villa has a 2 person whirlpool jacuzzi , rain shower, beautiful full kitchen, fireplace and next to the 550 acre Washington County Cottage Grove Ravine regional park reserve. Enjoy sweet dreams and your own raspberry sorbet at Raspberry Sorbet! Enter through your own personal entrance (not used by me), which masquerades as the front door. The entry, stairway, bedrooms, bathroom, and closets are all for the use of you and your party, and are NOT shared with me. Conveniently located just one block from the Carleton College Chapel, 2 blocks from the Weitz Center for Creativity, and 1.5 miles from St. Olaf College, with downtown Northfield in easy walking distance.

The Novella at Content Bookstore

The Novella at Content is a newly renovated 1BR apartment in the heart of historic downtown Northfield. Upstairs from Content Bookstore and Northfield Yarn, this unit offers sweet views of picturesque Division Street, extra-comfy bedding, and a stylish interior that echoes the early-20th-century details of the McKay Building in which it's located. With a well-equipped kitchen, family-friendly details, and an emphasis on quiet and ease, it's the perfect home base for adventures or retreat.

Hidden Northfield Cottage

A private, peaceful space 2 blocks from St. Olaf College and less than 1 mile from downtown and Carleton College. Our location is convenient, cozy and unique being an old ginseng farm, the duplex has a rural feel and is tucked away from the street. Enjoy a patio space to grill at while soaking in the outdoors. We have a fully equipped kitchen, but the Ole Store, a Northfield favorite, is just down the block. Dogs are allowed when added on the reservation and pet fee has been paid for.

Scandinavian Design Suite - Two Bedroom

We've designed a cozy modern Scandinavian two-bedroom space for your comfort and enjoyment. This sleek and stylish living space has a city vibe and all the comforts as well as the amenities you need for a great stay. It is located on one of Northfield's most beautiful and historical streets and just a short walk from the beautiful campus of St. Olaf College. Midway between St Olaf and Carleton Colleges, this beautiful one bedroom loft is steps from Arts Guild Theater. Charming downtown shops, cafes, and the Cannon River are just a few blocks away. This well-appointed space is all you need for your comfortable stay in Northfield. Notes: This apartment features a very petite bathroom. An iconic train whistle runs through Northfield day and night.

Pond View is a suite in the walk-out, lower level of our primary residence. We are an active family with 2 dogs, and the property is located in a busy residential area.
