In our family for the last five decades, this homey Lakeshore cottage is prepped and ready to host newcomers to give them a taste of our Keweenaw Peninsula paradise. Enjoy a private beach with bonfire ring, recently renovated deck with furnishings, fully equipped kitchen and three bedrooms (with newer King, Queen & Twin beds). Mökki Kadunce River Cabin

The cabin is located next to the Kadunce River and directly across the highway from the shores of Lake Superior where the beach is a nice mix of sand and small pebbles. Perfect for your own private agate hunting, stargazing, catching a sunrise, or jumping in for an invigorating swim after your sauna. Nestled in mature spruce, this cozy timber and log cabin with wrap-around windows is surrounded by towering pines and a beautiful forest floor – keep an eye out for the deer as they stroll by.

Guest Getaway Loft

Take a refreshing respite in the quiet or experience the bustle of historic downtown Calumet from our 500 sqft guest apartment. This studio apartment is lofted above the detached garage with a private entrance. Within walking distance of bars, restaurants, coffeehouses, bakeries, and local ski and snowmobile trails our guest home is a perfect place to explore all the Keweenaw peninsula has to offer. Guests have 24/7 access to the host, when necessary, as I live in the detached main house.

With panoramic views from inside and out you’ll have amazing sunsets and spectacular views of the lake. The nighttime views of the stars and the Northern Lights are even better! Inside there is plenty of room to stretch out and relax, sit in front of the fireplace, relax in the jacuzzi tub or even play a game of pool. Just a short drive to Eagle River, Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor.
