Vacation rentals with breakfast in East Dunbartonshire Council

This place was absolutely wonderful to stay at! It was nice, clean and had a really cozy, homey vibe. Malcolm is very communicative and friendly. He gave us lots of recommendations for things to see near Stirling and in general in Scotland which we really appreciated. The place was exactly as described and more! We really felt at home here. Thanks for having us!

I simply can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my time at Rhona and Hugh’s lovely home. Their hospitality was warm and genuine, and every detail was considered. I felt comfortable and looked after. It was just the quiet prelude I was hoping for before starting the West Highland Way. I’ll be back!

John is such a friendly and helpful host. It’s a great room with a big TV and comfy bed. The cats were so loving and cute!

We were really pleased with our stay at Lorna's, nothing was too much trouble & it was nice to meet Lorna when we arrived. Lorna's house was a real home from home, everywhere was clean & tidy, it was a nice touch that she left us with provisions when we arrived, which she didn't have to do. l would highly recommend.

Patricia was so helpful and kind during my stay! She provided a map of the city, easy transportation instructions, and recommended some local spots to check out. Really enjoyed my comfortable stay and our kitchen chats :)

Fue el mejor rbnb del mundo! Era la primera vez que viajaba sola y me quedaba durante 3 meses en el extranjero por pasantia de posgrado, y Diana me hizo sentir como si estuviera en mi segundo hogar. Sus gatos son encantadores y parte de la familia. Amè la tranquilidad y seguridad del vecindario. Si bien me quedaba a 1 hora de mi Universidad (Stirling), realmente valió todos los viajes en tren. No podría haber encontrado algo mejor que el hogar de Diana para esta experiencia de vida. Lo agradeceré por siembre.

La casa di colin è semplicemente la più bella in cui io sia mai stata con Air BnB! Colin è stato sempre disponibile, fornendo indicazioni chiarissime per il check-in. La casa si trova a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro e dal castello, mentre con 5 minuti di macchina si arriva al Wallace Monument. La stanza è perfetta con un ampio bagno privato. Al mattino viene preparata una ottima colazione scozzese. Infine, un grande plus per noi: In casa si troveranno anche due dolcissimi cagnolini. Consiglio a tutti!

Wunderschönes und kunterbuntes Haus. Sehr viel Charme. Alles war ordentlich und sauber. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Öffentliche Anbindungen super. Zimmer haben allerdings kein richtiges Schloss, nur von innen ein Haken um nachts die Tür „abzusperren“.

Absolutely lovely with no detail overlooked! It was like staying at the home of a favorite relative. This was obviously a home, not a generic flat box, Amazon and Wayfair outfitted rental property. Proper dish towels, kitchen “junk drawer”, every cooking item you could possibly need - move in ready. Fantastic neighborhood within easy walking distance to public transportation, dining, shopping, sightseeing. Prompt response from owner on question re heating, explicit directions in unit on every appliance and electronic. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic house, was cozy, clean, and perfectly located. The host Jem’s was responsive and made check-in seamless. The house had all the essentials, plus a few thoughtful touches like coffee and local guides. close to shops and restaurants. Everything matched the listing photos. had a great stay at Toms place, very central, spotless, very comfy sofas and bed. bath was a bonus. Tom very kindly let me check in earlier, great communication. I have already booked for next month

Great service, slept well

Joe was very proactive in communication and making sure we knew how to access the property. I was booking this on behalf of friends and Joe was accommodating and understanding for this unusual situation. The property was clean and fit the description well. It's a good location with easy transport routes into Glasgow and elsewhere.

Excellent séjour dans l'appartement de Richard : à 10-15min à pied des gares (Glasgow Central et Queen Station), appartement très propre, lit confortable, cuisine fonctionnelle. Richard a été très réactif et arrangeant pour le check-in. Je recommande !

This was our first Air B and B experience and it was super. It was clean and beautifully furnished. Keshan’s communication was excellent and he warmly greeted us and was very nice considering how we arrived later than we expected. The location was great and we ate out at Old Salty’s and The Curlers Rest which were lovely. (We could have stayed in and cooked, as there was a lovely cooker and microwave, but hey , we were on holiday !) The supplies and goodies left for us made us feel welcomed. Much appreciated. My son recommended this to us and we were not disappointed. It was a lovely first visit to Glasgow.

We stayed only one night but it was very nice. The breakfast was delicious and the dogs so cute !

Margaret is a superb host and we enjoyed the beautiful cottage! The breakfast was excellent as well 😊. A lot of recommendations by the host on what to do, where to hike, where to eat etc. We also got to visit Margaret’s sheep farm and feed a lamb!!! ❤️

Anne nous a réservé un très bon accueil à notre arrivée (polie, le sourire et quelques mots de français). Sa petite maison est charmante, avec en prime des attentions pour ses locataires (pain frais, confiture, beurre, fromage...). J'étais un peu effrayé par la circulation pour sortir et entrer dans la propriété. Mais comme les écossais sont beaucoup plus courtois et patients au volant que les français : tout s'est bien passé 😅. Un dernier mot pour préciser que le logement était super propre. We are so very thankful to have stayed at Alex and Fiona's! It was the highlight of our trip and couldn't help but compare every place we stayed after their house. My son mentioned several times how much he already missed staying there. We felt so welcomed and immediately comfortable in their home. Alex made a wonderful breakfast in the morning for us that helped fuel us for the early start to our day. Alex made many recommendations of places to visit Glasgow that improved our experience. Some people may be hesitant to share a space on Air bnb, I admit I was a little hesitant myself. However, Alex's hospitality made us feel like we had visited an distant friend across the water. The home is quiet, convenient, beautiful (inside and out), and easily accessible by train. Counting down the days we can go stay again!
