We are a 3 minute drive from Poole ferry terminal for guests travelling to or from The Channel Islands or France. Poole Quay is a short drive or 20 minute walk and we have Hamworthy Park and Lake Pier beach just 5-10 minutes walk away. Sandbanks award winning beaches are only 15 mins by car. On your arrival there will be a welcome pack of fresh bread, croissants, milk, cereals, butter and a selection of jams. Parking is available on our driveway.
“August 2020 We had a fantastic break away in Liz and Huggy's annex. Both Liz and Huggy made us feel very welcome and both were very approachable for directions, advice on places to eat out or places to visit. The Annex was extremely clean and very well presented with lovely finishing touches as well. We would definately have no hesitation in staying here again. There is a local fish and chip shop within walking distance which served lovely fish and chips for an evening supper. In addition there is a local CO-OP Food shop within walking distance as well.”
Acton Studio is perfect for walkers as we are near the South West Coast Path and ideal for those wanting to get back to nature and unwind as we are off the beaten track. We are close to Corfe Castle and other attractions in the Isle of Purbeck.
“Peaceful and well-designed studio with everything you need plus a lovely secluded courtyard with lots of lush planting that catches the morning sun. The bed is seriously comfortable with good quality linen, and the kitchen is practical with a decent sized fridge - it's perfect for cooking up light meals. Ian and Steve communicated super quickly and were friendly when we met them; their folder of info of things to do was very informative too - there's so much to do around here! The studio was spotless and more spacious than it looks in pictures. It is off the beaten track with great walking from the doorstep. Just right for a rural break.”

The apartment boasts a stylish fully fitted kitchen and leather Chesterfield sofa, chairs and a large comfy bed .
“Very friendly hosts who are thoughtful in what guests might like when they stay with them. We were provided with some basics like eggs, milk, coffee etc when we arrived which means you don't need to rush immediately to the shop so you can have a cup of coffee or tea after your journey which is a nice touch. The accommodation is lovely & comfortable with all the facilities you could want. Within walking distance to the town centre and beach, which is great as you can leave your car by the accommodation and not pay parking charges. The accommodation also has a convenience store up the road from it so easy to pop and get a bottle of wine or a snack or even a takeaway. We will definitely be staying there again.”
