Great place to spend your vacation in York :) close to the city center 10-15 minutes by walk , private car park :) highly recommended

We were particularly impressed at your thoughtfulness in leaving a welcome basket. Apart from the initial slight difficulty in access at the gate, once we had the fob, all was well. The showers were really good with a strong flow of water. Also, we were lovely and warm. The private parking was very useful. The flat is situated near the station, restaurants and takeaways and with easy access to the city centre. We would love to stay again should we return to York.

lovely apartment, ideal location and well worth what we paid for it. Could think of providing a second set of keys. When some of our party wanted to retire early, we all had to go back.

A great place to stay, the check in was seamless, the flat matched the description and our expectations. The location is spot on and within easy reach of all amenities and sights of interest. The easily accessible secure parking is an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Carolyn’s place was clean and tidy, within walking distance (abt 10 mins) to the Shambles, numerous amenities nearby (M&S Food Hall and Morrisons) to get any daily necessities that you might need. Would definitely recommend her place anytime.

Fantastic place! We are a family of four with a 10 and 13 year old. Whitby, for fossil hunting, it’s just 1 hour away and York 1/2 hour away, the location couldn’t be more perfect. On the way to Whitby you go past moor land so great if you are on a walking holiday. Also the nearby town has great restaurants. We’ll be back!

Lovely, clean apartment in a great location. We drove to York so loved the parking spot! Left by train and was SO convenient to the station. Don’t follow the walking instructions because they take you on an 18 minute walking route. Thankfully, we noticed the cut through under the arch right behind the Kings Quarters and it took us literally 3 minutes to get there. Loved the communication & lovely greeting basket with goodies. Would stay again.

Beautiful home where we immediately felt at home. Everything was very clean, and the fact that things like milk, coffee, tea and wine were provided made it just complete. Diane also provided great suggestions for restaurants, which we all tried and completely agreed that they are good places to eat. If we come back to this area, we will definitely try to book this place again.

Beautifully appointed with a lovely relaxed feel. It was nice and clean throughout and we felt at home straight away. The double bed was amazingly comfortable as was the sofa. The hot tub was well maintained and we used it throughout our stay and the wifi was fast. Having the pub so close was very handy and it was great to have the garden center right next door. An ideal spot to walk the Trans Pennine Trail. One warning for those wanting to use public transport, the local buses do not stop at the site and you will have to walk from one of the villages either side. Melanie was very quick to get back to us on a query we had which was so helpful. We have had a fabulous time away in a home from home and would highly recommend.

We enjoyed a lovely family weekend in this beautiful, comfortable house. The kitchen was well-equipped, the welcome basket was a nice touch. All the information we needed was there. This was a fabulous location for exploring York, and a great place to spend time together.

Perfect location, walking distance to beach, pubs, restaurants. The house had everything we needed and more. welcome basket with the prosecco and biscuits was a nice touch aswell. Will definitely like to return.

Wow! What an amazing place this is. Just as seen on the pictures. Beautifully furnished, the hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay. The location is right on the beach with access to Filey and other places only a short drive away. Vanda is a great host. She was really flexible with our requests for extra time to check out and responds quickly. We will be back!

My family and I stayed for the weekend and we had a lovely time at janes cottage. The house is gorgeous - very clean and cosy. The surroundings were peaceful with a relaxing outdoor space and a great hot tub. Jane and her daughter were very helpful and welcoming! We would definitely stay again.

The cottage was cosy, clean and comfortable. Check in was very easy and the location was ideal for a quick trip away. I would definitely stay again.

Fantastic house with lots of space for a grown up family of 4. It was a little tricky to find but the instructions were excellent which helped. We loved the location. I would recommend this place to stay for those wanting explore York on foot. The description mentioned two parking spaces (we only had one big car) but we were asked to only park inside the garage on the arrival day. There was a table in the other advertised parking bay. Our car did fit in but with probably 2 inches clearance per side at the entrance of the garage. However, once in it was lovely to know the car was secure for the duration of our stay. The crockery and cutlery was not clean, we didn’t report it but instead put the whole lot in the dishwasher ( plenty of tablets provided) and headed out to the nearby pub. I think this was more from the previous visitor but maybe the cleaning team should have checked. Also there was some underwear left in one bedroom when we arrived.

This beautiful apartment is just a short walk from the heart of York. We will definitely be staying again.

Can't fault this place at all, I'm very picky about where we stay and I'm glad we chose this one. It was spotlessly clean, modern, homely and quiet considering we were right in the city centre. Fantastic car parking space where we just left the car because everything is just a short walkable distance away. Lovely little private and secure courtyard just enhanced this lovely little property, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend to single or couples wanting to explore the city of York, honestly if someone offered to pay me to find a negative comment, I wouldn't be able to. Great place to stay. pictures do not do it justice. Great location,quiet , near to station and York centre. very clean comfy and homely apartment. Will def be my first choice when visiting York again x

Beautiful location. Modern and very clean. One thing to note is the smaller bedroom windows is right on the street so if you like the subtle sounds of the city at night it provides the perfect white noise. We enjoyed our stay and would consider it in the future.

Beautiful accommodation just right for two with everything we needed. Very new and modern bathroom - lovely big, fluffy towels - and a super king-size bed. Well-equipped kitchen, dining table and cosy lounge area made for perfect accommodation. Rachel’s instructions were very clear and she always responded immediately to queries, both online and by phone. The EV charger was a real bonus. Can heartily recommend the Milking Parlour and hope we might have the opportunity to stay there again.

Really great stay, apartment was exactly as listed an was perfect for a famil stay over the weekend. The rooms had air con which made a big difference comfort wise. Location was great, an easily walkable into the centre, with great views of York Minster. All instructions and interactions with Rebbeca were great. Would happily recommend this for someone looking to stay!

Marian was a wonderful host, being flexible and giving good instructions. We loved the neighborhood that was very calm and friendly. The apartment was super clean and spacious and the perfect place to relax after sightseeing. We recommend!
