Monthly Rentals in Egginton

This is our second time at The lodge and was handy being so close to Alton Towees. The lodge is a very tidy and was everything we needed for our time away. The children enjoyed themselves with the little games available to play and they loved the big shower. Mark and Clare were very helpful and met us at check in and said farewell when we left. Def would use again!

We loved our stay! Ruth's place was exactly as described. She was warm and welcoming with lots of local recommendations for our dogs to walk too. Her home was beautiful with lots of little touches that made the place feel like home. Yes, the stairs are steep and this was no issue as we read the description before arriving. To the person saying these are like ladders in another review.. this certainly isnt true. They are steep stairs, but when you take the stairs up to the bedspace you are met with the most lovely cosy space; dimly lit beautifully. We made use of the sauna despite me not being able to tolerated it but even so was a lovely added facility to try. The dogs settled well in the kitchen overnight and despite being on the main highstreet it was blissfully quiet. No disturbances what so ever. And we are hoping to come back and explore the area more!

Warm, comfortable lodge in peaceful position overlooking small, lovely wetland area. Very well appointed with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. Easy access for me with my bad knee and flat, pretty walks around the area. Simon is easy to communicate with and we loved our stay. Thank you Simon - and the welcome bottle of wine was much appreciated.
