A comfortable, cozy, private and secluded cabin for up to two guests. Our cabin is overlooking the Knik River Valley and Knik Glacier and offers spectacular views. The cabin is located a short but moderate hike from our parking area.
“This tiny house was a wonderfully relaxing stay. We were greeted at our car by both Mark and Marilyn who showed us around and helped us with our luggage. They made sure we had everything we needed and then let us have our privacy which was perfect as the views from the cabin made us want to just curl up in bed and watch the river! There are fabulous black out curtains that made it possible to sleep in the midnight Alaskan sun. There was fresh drinking water, tea and coffee and hot cocoa packets, a really efficient heater, and a really comfortable queen bed. They even let us use the extra shower because it was too cold for the solar one. We would be happy to stay again!”
Glamping at its finest! Join us on 26 private acres on the Knik River with world class views of Pioneer Peak. Bring your binoculars and watch bears, moose, sheep and goats in the high country bowls of Pioneer Peak just 45 min from downtown anchorage. Amazing outdoor recreational opportunities right from the property. Hiking, biking, fishing, ATV, flight seeing all available and easily accessible. Clean and simple accommodations and shared local knowledge to make the most of your trip!
“We loved staying in the yurt! I didn't even notice that there was no running water or ensuite bathroom. It is true that the outhouse is very nice, and we jumped in a nearby pond after a long hike for our bath. We enjoyed having a picnic on the table and chairs along the river, as well as looking at Pioneer Peak from the yurt. The accommodations within the yurt are very comfortable. And, since coffee is very important to me, I was especially pleased with the coffee set-up (bring your own grounds). Shout out to Wyo, Tucker and "The Kitty," too!”
Welcome to our cozy cottage created just for you! This property was originally homesteaded by my parents, Carl and Sami Bingham in 1951. Our site is 28 acres of some of the most scenic mountain, glacier and river views in the whole Knik River valley. This is our third year with Airbnb, and we look forward to meeting new people and having each of you experience a bit of Alaska from our point of view. Come and enjoy the beauty our place has to offer.
“This wonderful home has a million-dollar view!! We really enjoyed sitting by the fire outside, as well as on the deck, listening to the birds and taking in the view. You can also walk down a private path to the river. The home was very comfortable and stalked with almost everything you may ever need. We met Carl, who was kind and personable. He shared tips on the local wildlife and good places to go. We definitely recommend this place!!”
