Vacation rentals with a patio in El Castillo

Had a lovely stay at Jessy's place. The room was really spacious and had a nice kitchenette. It's not in the downtown area of La Fortuna, which we loved. Still super convenient to get everywhere. Jessy was also super fast to respond and really helpful with providing information about guides in the area!

Iris and Nelson are awesome people, they are very nice and helpful. The apartment is located near the center of the town, and makes it easy to reach multiple stores, restaurants, and cafes, just by walking. The apartment is as in the pictures, it is spacious and comfortable.

Absolutely loved our stay. The place was exactly as described, and we found it immaculately clean when we arrived. There is ample space for you to relax or work. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, yet only a few minutes from all the major stores and restaurants in town.

Beautiful place, the views are incredible. We saw toucans in the tree right next to the terrace and were visited by a troop of capuchin monkeys one morning who were jumping and playing on the roof and trees surrounding us. House was clean and well kept. Host super responsive and helpful and was extremely prompt with resolving an issue we had. Thanks for a great stay, one of the highlights of our honeymoon for sure!

The place was even better than we thought because the soda next-door was so good and we were even surprised by the little garden in the back and the animals plus a great view of the volcano. Most of the place feels bigger than we thought.

Excellent apartment, with nice views. Very clean. A bit tricky to find. Quite noisy, so the included ear plugs come in handy. Overall, we would recommend this apartment.

This airbnb was very comfortable, beds were great. No need for A/C as the temperatures were nice and cool in evenings. You could sleep with windows open as there were screens. It was not near the center of town but there is a bus. We walked to the center of town but if you have mobility issues, the bus would be better. It was peaceful and quiet.

Andrés es un gran host! La casa está muy cerca del centro (distancia caminando). La cocina tiene todo lo necesario para comer dentro. La sala con televisión súper confortable para noche de películas. Las habitaciones muy cómodas. Tener dos baños completos es una gran ventaja. Y el balcón tiene vista al volcán 👌🏼. Super recomendada para escaparse un fin de semana!

Wir waren zu viert für vier Nächte in der Unterkunft und waren mit der Ausstattung sehr zufrieden. Es ist allerdings sehr hellhörig und die Toilettenspülung war sehr laut.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem Haus! Jeden Abend konnten wir traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge direkt vom Balkon aus genießen – die Seesicht ist einfach spektakulär. Besonders begeistert waren wir von der großen Badewanne, die für pure Entspannung gesorgt hat. Das Haus ist geräumig und bietet alles, was man braucht. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich hilfsbereit und haben uns viele tolle Empfehlungen für die Gegend gegeben. Ein weiteres Highlight waren die süßen kleinen Hunde, die uns immer wieder besucht haben – meine Kinder haben sie über alles geliebt! Vielen Dank für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

A good place for us as a base during our stay at La Fortuna. A short drive to restaurants/supermarkets/shops etc & 20-30mins from all main activities. House looked just liked the photos & we saw toucans, bats & other beautiful birds from the roof terrace. Kitchen very well equipped & air con worked well in the bedrooms. Would recommend.

Marvin was so kind and met us to show us around! I also accidentally left something valuable there when we and he immediately went over to find it to keep it safe for me. We could walk anywhere in town which was so nice (especially the ice cream shop). He also gave us great tips on what to do and I used his list to plan our trip.

Very nice house. Clean and family friendly. Kitchen is nice. There are a lot of bugs in the rain forest so keep the windows closed! Coming from Florida USA so bugs are normal, but if you are not use to the tropics then bring bug spray for mosquitos. If you are from CR, like my partner, then you already know to keep doors and windows shut especially at night. AC was nice to have after a long day of being outside. Very close to hot springs. The markets and restaurants are great. Overall this place is really nice for a chill small group of people. This stay made our small family reunion feel comfortable and complete. It was 6 and 1/2 of us (1 baby) but this place is actually bigger than we thought. Very spacious and more than enough bed space. House keeping rules are simple. AC off when you leave the house to save for the environment! I hope who ever reads this has a great time like we did! Thank you John and Tati for your great hospitality.

La ubicación es ideal si traes auto por qué puedes moverte fácilmente a cualquier lado, la fortuna se encuentra relativamente cerca, el alojamiento es cómodo y bien equipado, mucha naturaleza y lindas vistas, el anfitrión fue muy atento y claro con las indicaciones cosa que se agradece, en general recomendamos mucho hospedarse en huguitos house!!

Daniel and his co-host were amazing. They informed us of places to visit and assisted us getting to some of them. (We would want others to be aware however,that they might lose connection with google maps at some points on the way finding the location) Nevertheless we were truly impressed with the place and felt at home. They were quick to respond to any queries we had and offered helpful suggestions. Truly value for money! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and recommend this place 100%

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

No duden en reservar este sitio. Si pudiera dar 1000 estrellas lo haria, Don Cristian y su esposa Stela nos hicieron sentir como en casa, la piscina estaba perfecta, la habitación muy cómoda, Llevamos a mi gatito nos recibieron muy bonito y se preocuparon por la comodidad de Mateo. Conforme a ubicación me parecio exelente zona silenciosa, privacidad y zona cercana al centro. Los Host siempre estuvieron pendientes a cualquier necesidad o solicitud. Espero volver pronto y gracias por recibirnos con tanto amor, amabilidad y hospitalidad❤️👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻🐈.

Muy contentos con la estadía. Muy cómodo el apartamento, cerca del centro y como en nuestro caso nuestro carro es eléctrico, la estación de carga rápida está al frente del apartamento. Pudimos cargar el auto. Cómo es la única estación de carga rápida de la Fortuna, hay que tener un poco de paciencia porque es muy utilizada! Como plan b hay cargadores de carga media en el parqueo de Adifort en el centro y también lo utilizamos sin problemas, solo se paga el tiempo que se dure en el parqueo! Volveremos sin dudarlo!

Gut gelegene Wohnung mit allem was mach brauch und einer schönen Terasse! Alles fußläufig gut erreichbar! Die Kommunikation war einfach und nett! 👍🏻 :-)

El alojamiento fue exactamente como estaba descrito. La zona es muy tranquila, perfecta para desconectarse del mundo y descansar. Estuve allí con mi familia y todos disfrutamos muchísimo. Las camas son súper cómodas y todo estaba impecablemente limpio. Sin duda, un lugar al que nos encantaría volver.

Cristian et Estella sont des hôtes très gentils, accueillants, discrets et au petit soin. Nous n'avions pas pu laver notre linge dans la location précédente. Ils ont lavé tout notre linge. Le studio est très bien, conforme à la description et très propre. La piscine est très bien également. Merci mille fois Cristian et Estella. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre rencontré.
