The area around Osensjøen has good opportunities for hiking and biking in the summer and skiing on prepared trails in the winter. About a half hour drive to Trysilfjellet which is Norway's largest ski center with lots of slopes and lovely ski tracks Here there are also lots of adapted bike paths for all ages as well as many other activities in the summer.
