There is ample (free!) parking. You rent the entire upper apartment and part of the lower apartment with its own kitchen, living room, bathrooms, toilets and nice garden. It is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. 4 km from the center of Bad Bentheim and 4 km from the Dutch border, you can start directly on the sandstone route from here. The lake lodge is located directly on the lake and perfectly combines the features of a cozy Scandinavian-style house with the amenities of a modern equipped accommodation with exclusive and luxurious highlights. The sauna, hot tub and fireplace offer relaxation. One of our highlights is the loft net, which allows a view over the lake. The vacation home has 2 bedrooms with box spring beds. Two more people can sleep on the sofa bed.

Historic Farm House in Countryside

This type of house is known as " ein Heuerhaus'. It was built in 1883 and is one of the few remaining such houses in the area. We renovated it in the late1980's and it is recognised as a National Monument. The area we converted into the appartment for our guests, was originally used for storing the hay and straw for the animals winter fodder The house is surrounded by a large garden and uninterrupted view of the countryside.

Our farm was built completely new in 2015, we live in the back house and the front house is furnished as a vacation home. 5 private parking spaces, a spacious garden with terrace where you can sit comfortably. 1 bedroom on the ground floor with private bathroom, the other 4 bedrooms on the first floor with shared bathroom.

In the area you will find quaint small towns for half-timbered lovers and small farms with farm shops and restaurants to stop by after an extended bike tour or longer walks. On the 1st floor there are the 2 other bedrooms and the 2nd bathroom.
