Farmstay vacation rentals in Emsland

We had a wonderful weekend with two families (4 adults, 5 children). Inside you are wonderfully cozy. Outside for the children (with us they were between 3 and 11 years old) all kinds of things to do. The go-kart, the playground equipment and the games have been fully used. Bakery, Lidl, Plus within walking distance. A walk to the Mill and the village is also made in this way. With only to adult, the cottage seems too small to me, for us it was great. Jan and Ellen are warm, hospitable and really do their best to delight you. We'd love to come back.

We were surprised how large the accommodation actually was. Everything met our expectations and the hostess was super sweet and gave great information. The underfloor heating was really nice. Outside it was very cold, but we hardly had to turn on the central heating because the heating with the wood stove worked much faster. Perfect.

We more than enjoyed the stay, especially our son (2 years) was more than delighted with the farm and the play barn. The landlords were super nice and the accommodation very cozily furnished and totally clean. The garden is also an absolute oasis for relaxation. We traveled a lot by bike and can highly recommend the area. We will be happy to come back and recommend the place to friends with children.

Cosy cottage in a very peaceful area. Jacinta and Paul and lovely hosts. Breakfast (incuding fresh eggs from resident chickens) exceeded expectations.

We felt very comfortable in Anette's place, were warmly welcomed and everything was very cozy! The equipment of everything was great and if a little something was missing, Anette was immediately available and brought it over. The garden is a dream and especially for the children a paradise with the large sandbox and mud kitchen as well as the covered ping pong table. Only a few walks directly from the house were missing, but by car you were everywhere quite quickly. We can 100% recommend the vacation home!

If you are looking for a small oasis of peace on the East Frisian lake, then this place is just the thing. The charm of the farm is unique, in the background the horses and fruit trees give the large garden an extra flair. The hayloft is an absolute children's paradise. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back.

Lovely cottage in a farm house. The bed is extremely comfortable, pictures don't do the place justice, the interior is very cozy and charming. Host is very kind and the place feels home. Shops are walking distance, and the house is located opposite the canal, sunsets are beautiful. There is a bus 5 minutes walk from the house. Nice area to relax and unwind - away from the hustle and bustle of cities. The neighbourhood is peaceful and the villagers are friendly.

We really enjoyed it! The kids were happy with the animals in the area :) In general, the apartment is super equipped. Even spices, oils, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, and soap were not missing. In addition, towels and bed linen are sufficiently provided. We felt comfortable and would be happy to come back 😊

Super tiny house, very nicely decorated and everything there that is needed. We enjoyed the break very much. Not an absolute secluded location within sight but quietly located on a farm. Easy and straightforward check in and check out. Good communication - thank you Maximilian!

Just right for peace seekers and nature lovers: Reinhard and Jutta's tiny house In an idyll surrounded by tall trees, Reinhard and Jutta have lovingly furnished their tiny house and offer their guests a true oasis of relaxation. As you can see in the photos, the house has a large veranda overlooking the garden. In the morning you can pamper yourself with Fairtrade coffee roasted by the hosts, before making your way to the nearby Barkeler Busch with the many lakes. There you can take long walks through the untouched nature. If you want to leave the hustle and bustle of the big city behind and enjoy the course of nature instead, this tiny house is just right. Hosts Reinhard and Jutta also sweeten the stay with a huge range of organic food and other Fairtrade products.

Accommodation with apple trees; it was very nice here. We stayed here for a week with a small child and enjoyed it. The property is as described, practically furnished and sufficient for us. The beautiful view and friendly hosts rounded off the whole thing well. Glad to come back!

Spacious and beautiful accommodation in a beautiful place. Welcomingly welcomed with some treats. We enjoyed the space, the animals, the trampolines and all (play)amenities. Nice to taste the atmosphere of farm life for a while. Unfortunately, you can only stay one night; the children wanted to stay there or at least stay longer. ;) Would be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful weekend in Stemwede! The outdoor kitchen is just a dream and the garden much bigger than it appears in the pictures! That surprised me very positively. In the morning you can hear the rooster crowing, which rounded off the land feeling over breakfast on the terrace of the tiny house. 🥰 The outdoor shower is totally cute and is really fun in the sunshine! My companion accidentally broke a bowl while washing dishes, which she was then supposed to replace with €25. It would have been nice to read something like this in the description, then we would have brought our own dishes for safety. Otherwise, everything was totally beautiful! :) I will definitely be back too! Gerd and Kathinka are both outstandingly lovely people. I immediately felt very comfortable and look forward to next time! 🥰 Thank you dear ones for this wonderful short break from the big city! Best regards and I hope to see you soon!

Great beautiful farmhouse. Wonderful place to relax and unwind. Very complete house and especially the kitchen is a pleasure, with an Atag stove but also an overcomplete equipment. Never seen a house with such a complete kitchen. Super reception by Jon and Kristel. Felt right at home. Furthermore, a lot of privacy and a wonderfully quiet area. And what a beautiful part of the Netherlands with beautiful hiking and cycling routes. Or how about a canoe trip about the Regge or Vecht. Enjoyed a wonderful long weekend. Beds and bathrooms were good and also here it lacked nothing. Jon and Kristel, thank you for your hospitality.

A wonderfully lazy place to breathe, the cottage and the yard exude a quiet atmosphere, which invites you to slow down. The kitchen is bathed in light and invites you to stay for a long time. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom tip top, the kitchen perfectly equipped to cook for yourself. On the side of the yard you can wake up in the morning in the sun, from the afternoon your own piece of private garden is in the sun. Very nice place so for long, slow (and creative! :) days. On top of that, a warm welcome.

Beautiful chalet in a quiet area, parking in front of the door. Drinks in the fridge, everything well cleaned and a modern bathroom. All in all recommended, a 10-minute drive away, the town of Kampen where there are nice restaurants with a nice view of the river.

Amazing place, very peaceful. The hosts are incredibly nice and very helpful. We took the recommended wooden boat for a tour around the town and it was magical.

Our stay with Auke and Janet was super nice. The house is really nice and you will be warmly welcomed. Super nice hosts who are great for preparing everything. We arrived with a baby and the two provided us with things like a high chair, a crib and a changing mat for our daughter without us asking. Really super attentive and totally sweet. We will be happy to come back!

Our stay with Nanda and Peter was in a nutshell! The polite reception and a short but precise introduction to the property made us feel right at home. The AirBnB offers everything as advertised and it is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. Communication worked great and we were given tips and recommendations for the area. The combination of a nice and privacy-respecting family next door, the opportunity to interact with the trustworthy animals and the quiet environment make the AirBnB unique. An absolute recommendation for every animal and nature lover. Thank you for everything and hopefully until soon!

The photos actually don't exude enough how cozy the space is and how beautiful the grounds are with the farm and this outbuilding. It is very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, good heating, nice shower. You can hop on a mountain bike route or hike up the Sallandse Heuvelrug.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Kirsten and Alf were very nice. From the apartment you have a view of the garden and the animals. We would come back.
