Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Erice

We were in Mondello in July 2024 and had a fantastic vacation. The beaches and the turquoise blue sea were stunningly beautiful. The apartment of our host Gabriella was just as beautiful as in the pictures, very clean and well appointed. We didn't miss anything. The terrace provides shade during the day and invites you to a glass of wine in the evening – simply beautiful. Gabriella is a warm and loving host who can always be reached by phone. A special experience was when we closed the front door in the middle of the night and the key was inside. We called Gabriella, and her husband came right away to help us. We are very grateful for that. Gabriella was always available for questions and useful tips. We felt very comfortable with her – it doesn't get any better than that. A great base for visiting the nature reserves, Trapani, Marsala, Erice, Segesta, and Palermo! Hosts were very responsive and attentive to our needs. They answered questions and addressed any concerns very quickly. Best surprise- the shower had amazing water pressure and hot temperature… perfect after long days exploring, hiking, and boating!

Giuseppe and family accepted us into their property just like family. We were able to reach Trapani, Erice and Salt Museum easily. The property had orchard groves of oranges, lemons, lime, etc. The kitchen had snacks and the fridge milk, waters and Messina. I wish we could have stayed longer and relaxed here. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Roberto is a very welcoming host, he is very responsive and gave us some great recommendations in the area. He even brought us breakfast twice. The house has an unobstructed view of the sea with private access without sand space to settle in but with a small concrete terrace. We also enjoyed the outdoor terrace which is sheltered from the wind and where we spent very pleasant evenings. We had a good week in Sicily and the location very close to the airport (15 min) was a plus. The cities of Trapani, Palermo, Mondello, Segeste are easily accessible within 1 hour and Cefalu at 1h20.

Very nice apartment and extremely spacious. The facilities were very good. The communication was excellent.

A peaceful quiet location away from the crowds, but close to Trapani. The photos and description accurately match the house. The living area is a great place to relax at the end of the day either cooking a meal or having a drink. Vincenza is a real pleasure to communicate with and quickly answered questions, or provided a few additional items for our stay.

Lucia’s home was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The numerous flights of stairs were a challenge but we soon got used to them. Our host Lucia was very kind and generous with her time, she answered all our questions and stayed in contact throughout our visit. Thank you Lucia for the water, milk and biscuits. Trapani is a beautiful place to visit, especially Erice. Bus 23 from the Port goes to the cable car that takes you up the mountain to Erice.

Overall we had a good time. Sebastiano was a great and very helpful host. For example we had a little trouble getting there by public transport (which we really wouldn’t recommend, a car is very practical in this area!) and he send his mother to pick us up from a city nearby. Selinunte was at that time of year very very quiet and empty and the beaches had a lot of algae - maybe consider this if you’re looking into spending time there. The kitchen was well equipped and cooking there was comfortable. The inner courtyard was very cozy, although obviously sealed off from the outside world.

Lovely apartment in the center of Calatafimi, a short walk from restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. Brand new and very cozy. It consists of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a pleasant terrace. The town is perfect for excursions in western Sicily as, 5 minutes from the famous Segesta, it is only 20 minutes from Scopello, Trapani, Erice, the Egadi islands. Parking spot under the house. Highly recommended for couples, families and friends. Great hospitality.

Very welcoming place and front desk, my friends and I had a great time. The room was clean and we also had a good time with the bike service provided by Elimi. Very convenient location to reach the center in 5 minutes even on foot.

Great place for kite surfers as very close to the lagune and fairly priced.

Had a lovely stay in Capaci! Michaela and Dario were super helpful hosts. The place is large, two separate bedrooms and a large, comfy couch. Kitchen is very well stocked. Fantastic sunset views from the balcony. The beach is near, so is the train which makes it super convenient. We rented a car to explore other parts of the island, the parking spot came in handy. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Leti was responsive and efficient from the moment we booked our stay. She organised a taxi from the airport and he was waiting for us. We had a couple of questions and she replied promptly. The view was wonderful and encompassed the whole of the bay and there was always something to see/going on. It could get a little noisy at night as the locals dined out exceptionally late -the restaurant was still receiving guests at 11pm! Thank you Leti

The apartment was perfect. Very lovingly furnished with details and you immediately feel very comfortable and at home. Very clean and also very well equipped for cake. The terrace is also very large and has a nice view to the harbor. The location of the apartment is generally very good and within walking distance of the harbor. Communication worked out very well and Patrizia was also quick to respond. We would come back. We enjoyed Favigiana very much.

Very nice hosts and kind. The apartment is located literally at 3 minutes walk from the beach with an amazing spot for the sunset. Also very easy to park the car and it has a supermarket a few seconds from the apartment. Couldn’t recommend it more

Francesca is a very good host! Always helpful and very polite. She was very quick to respond to the aftermath and tried to resolve the issues as quickly as possible. The apartment is clean, bright and much nicer than in the pictures. The kitchen had perfect amenities. We enjoyed our stay at Francesca's place.

Noemi's place is perfectly located to explore Trapani and the surrounding area. The apartment is clean and chicly furnished and we felt right at home! The large walk-in shower and the great roof terrace are a highlight. Parking right in front of the house is very convenient and rarely found in Italy! Thank you Noemi for your hospitality and great communication :)

Robertos condo is very nice and the view from balcony to beach and ocean is like painting. Aparment was clean and lots of glasses and other kitchen stuff. No problem to fit 4 adults and 4 kids. Strong recommendation if you are looking for silent place on beach to spend your holiday.
