Home from home! What a gem of a place. Situated in a prime location with all amenities nearby. What suited us was the birdlife and the tranquility of the setting. Shirley-Ann is a delightful host and, after a month-long stay, we are now firm friends and will stay connected. There is not a negative aspect to report: only a rave review of a rare find! We look forward to our return as we visit family and friends in Durban regularly. I highly recommend this cottage. Thank you Shirley-Ann.

Beautiful garden house with pool and ocean view. We really enjoyed working remotely from there and then relaxing in the evening or having a braai with the awesome hosts (and their lovely dogs) We had everything we needed. Total recommendation this one!

Staying at The Cottage was a lovely getaway from the hustle and bustle, with everything we could need as a group of 3 staying together. The home itself was welcoming and safe, and we truly felt right at home. The verandah and garden were an added plus on sunny days when we could sit outside and eat.

Lovely view of the harbour from the veranda, and the host was also very responsive to any needs I had during my stay.

Johnny and Pat were welcoming and friendly. The view was spectacular!👌🏻 We could walk to the beach, with a beach cafe - nice Bunnychows 😊. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed. They also had a nice book, with local recommendations. We had an amazing weekend. Definitely going back, and will certainly recommend to all my family and friends!

My husband and I have been staying at the establishment most of the times that we are in Durban; the unit is always clean, beautiful, and very quiet. It's home away from home for us.

A very clean and spacious room, perfect for a couple who just wanna have quiet time for themselves. The ladies helping out are sooo nice.🥰 The place is surrounded by nature and you literally hear natural sounds. I would 200% recommend this unit for you. I'll be coming back again before the year ends. 🥰

We had a great stay at the Snug Guesthouse. We worked remotely for most of our stay - the great WiFi and two working spots made this easy. Beds are comfortable and good air conditioning. The location suited us well and the garden was lush and relaxing. We also really enjoyed the swimming pool 🌊 Nic and Mendi are responsive and helpful hosts. We've shared some minor improvements with them and we noted they actively maintain the aircons, roofs and carpets. Excellent value for money and a comfy stay - we would visit again. I really enjoyed my stay here — it’s such a peaceful and private space. The quiet surroundings and natural beauty, with all the plants and flowers, make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. It honestly gave me the breather I didn’t know I needed. I was genuinely sad when I couldn’t extend my stay, but I completely understand as someone else had booked. This place is a gem — I’d definitely love to come back in the future.

Thank you for the stay at your cottage and assistance with the extra fence over the gate it really helped us to relax and feel at home knowing our small dogs could not get out. Our dogs are escape artists. Host is friendly, helpful and attentive. We would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway in the Durban area.

Amazing place, looks as good the pictures. The bed was the highlight of the stay, most comfortable Airbnb bed I’ve ever experienced! Will definitely book this space again when in Durban.

Great couple, highly impressed with their service and flexibility. John & Audrey took good care of me from day 1, they helped me with so many things. They were super responsive and friendly. I enjoyed my stay throughout. The house was cleaned daily and the helper was so nice. It's great value for money, great area and safe. It's a 10/10.
