What a wonderful place to stay! We greatly enjoyed it. The cottage has everything you'll need. A good kitchen, lovely shower and bed and everything is clean. Everything has been thought of, including some basic groceries, so nice! We also really appreciated the guide with walks nearby, taxis etc. If you've been to this cottage, you want to go back! In the village, we loved the breakfast at Café Laura. Dinner twice: once at Casa do Rei in Lajes and 1x at Maresia, with both booking in advance and then enjoy. The latter is also nice in terms of experience.

I recently stayed at this charming house on Flores Island with my partner, and the location was fantastic, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful surroundings. Our host, Monica, was incredibly kind and welcoming—she truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One of the highlights was receiving fresh eggs from her chickens, which added a lovely personal touch. Monica also provided us with a thoughtful list of activities to do in case of bad weather, ensuring we had plenty of options to keep us entertained. The house was well-equipped, and having a washing machine available was a huge plus, especially for longer stays. We appreciated that Monica even provided washing liquid, making it even more convenient.
