Elena and Bernard were the perfect hosts. The Barn was very easy to find, a beautiful peaceful location next to St Andrews Church. Everything was spotless, one of the best equipped kitchens we've had with Air B&B. Such a comfortable bed, plenty of space to put your things away. Beautiful bathroom, lovely hot shower and fluffy towels. We had a problem with the Internet and Bernard came round straight away and sorted it out for us. We enjoyed sitting in the private courtyard as we were lucky with the weather. Would definitely recommend staying here, and hopefully we will again in the future. Very convenient location to visit our family in the next village. Poinsettias and seasonal decorations for the Christmas period was a very nice touch and attention to detail .

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the lodge, me and my wife were able to do some work while we were there (great internet connection) . We were a short drive from the Bristol Aerospace museum which the kids enjoyed going inside Concorde, we also spent a day in Bath which was great. But most of all the kids loved the pool, it was the warmest indoor pool we’ve ever been in and we struggled to keep them out of it ! We also loved the hot tub, the Lodge itself was excellent and comfortable, the cows out the back were very inquisitive, Becky was very responsive to any questions we had. We’d love to come back one day.

There's not alot I can say about Birch Cottage except...absolutely amazing. The cottage has been done to a 'very' high standard & all the fixtures & fittings are all high quality. Its a definite 'home from home'. The beds so comfy you don't want to get out of it. The kitchen has got everything you need in a kitchen & more & the same with the shower room. & if there's any problems or questions you need answered then Chris replies within 10 mins. A definite 5+☆ host. Oh, & the views...well they're absolutely amazing! On a clear day you can see for miles. You could just sit on the outside chairs with a bottle, or 2, of wine & just breathe it all in & fuss Chris's kitties, Bertie and Piccolo, who are lovely. So in short, an excellent cottage in an excellent location with excellent views & 2 furry friends to fuss & cuddle! What's not to like?!! 10+☆
