Monthly Rentals in Fan y Big

The accommodation was amazing, we wanted a getaway from reality for us and our little kittens and we did exactly that, we loved it. The donkeys, cats, dogs etc are all so loving and caring we would 1000% go again.

The perfect accommodation if you aim to hike The Horseshoe Ridge route, the start is within a 15 minute walk from the front door. If you're considering staying here the only advice I would provide is to make sure you buy food and drinks prior to your visit; there are no shops (or pubs) within walking distance. We were aware of this so it didn't take us by surprise 🙂. The kitchen was spacious and had all the utensils you could need for a short stay.

Would thoroughly recommend staying here if looking to spend some time in and around Brecon Beacons. The place itself is faultless, it was clean, well stocked and everything was to a high spec. Two very good size bedrooms both with separate en-suites. The kitchen area is great and comes with a range of cooking equipment and key cooking ingredients. We were also baked a delicious Welsh Bara Brith and provided with some fresh eggs which was great for breakfast. Both hosts were excellent, really accommodating and struck an excellent balance between being helpful and also leaving us to it. They had some lovely friendly dogs which is also a bonus. Finally the location and the views of the hills and valleys was breathtaking, whether the weather was sunny or cloudy, it always looked stunning, and makes you want to go back and visit again. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

We were only here for 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer. Stacie & Helen gave very clear instructions to help us get to the right address . The place was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. They were so kind to bake us a cake while we were there!
