Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Relax in this unique and beautiful home near the forest and beach Here there is plenty of room for a couple/friends with a terrace where you can barbecue and cozy. Inside, the house is spacious with a large lovely living room, bedroom with a double bed and direct access to the bathroom and kitchen with stove, coffeemachine, refrigerator, etc. Washing machine is available Rungsted coast lies between Copenhagen and Elsinore. About 1 km to the water, the trendy Rungsted Harbour with all the restaurants and Karen Blixen house.

Charming annex close to beach and forest

The annex sits at the back of our garden, with a private entrance and terrace with outdoor furniture. The annex is 22 m2 and furnished with living room/kitchenette, bedroom with double bed 160 cm wide and bathroom with bathtub/shower. The annex is 100 m from one of North Zealand's best beaches and Espergærde harbour, where you almost experience the southern atmosphere with cozy cafes and ice houses. 100 m to the other side is the forest. We have a friendly little dog that also uses the garden from time to time.

Charming house in a great location. The house has 3 rooms and a loft as well as bathroom and kitchen. It is sorrounded by a very nice garden and has access to its own south facing terrace with garden furniture. Copenhagen and Elsinore can be reached in 20 minutes, and Rungsted harbor with many restaurants and a nice beach within minutes. Louisiana Art Museum, Kronborg Castle are nearby. The hosts live in an independent house in the same place and are available to give you a perfect vacation.
