What wonderful hosts we enjoyed with our weekend stay! They were so very responsive and proactive with the communication, instructions, and responding to our inquiries. The swim spa pictured in the listing is an additional fee, so be sure you are aware of that. Overall, what the property shows well in pictures, is what you actually get. Beautiful house! We enjoyed the large open spaces with plenty of amenities. It was nice that each of the bedrooms had a very large king bed and bathroom, so we all had our on private retreat. The spa was clean, functioned perfectly and the coloured spa lights were a nice touch. Very peaceful, with not a neighbor insight making it very relaxing.

I had a lovely stay here for a night whilst visiting the antique show. The host was very kind and flexible when I need to make some last minute changes. I have had problems in the past trying to find my Airbnb in the area but this was easy to find and only 5 minutes from town. Will be back!

We stayed here for a family function and everyone was very happy with this booking. They had everything you needed to cook with. Lots of room so you dont feel like your cramped. The outdoor spaces was the highlight for us. The pool and hottub were a huge hit. The large garage that had games snd cornhole was used by the whole family. . We would definitely book the house again. The family has already asked about planning another trip to stay here.

The Hilltop Retreat was just as imagined and needed. The location was ideal for getting away and enjoying family time. The amenities on property made it a place for everyone to enjoy. The views were amazing from all patio's and decks. The game room was very entertaining with many games and arcades to choose from. The kids loved the variety. It was a crisp cool during our stay so we were not able to utilize the pool area but during the summer i am sure it seals the deal on entertainment for the family. The home was spacious and clean with great views from all directions. The bedding and linen was nicely appointed and plenty of flatware and plates to accommodate your needs. When it comes to response, our hosts, Elizabeth and Tim, were very quick and responsive to our needs and did a great job of making ready the property for our stay. The Hilltop retreat is definitely the property for me when staying in the Bastrop , central Texas area and looking forward to coming back in the future!

Our stay with Bridget was 1000 percent the best place we have ever stayed. Extremely helpful and responsive at any time! The house was so comfortable and cozy and smelled so good! Had everything we needed and just an overall perfect experience. We loved spending our anniversary here and it couldn't have been more special! We will definitely be returning! Had a great stay at Flop Houze, already looking forward to my return. Took a dip in the pool, an afternoon nap in the hammock and listened to tunes on vinyl while relaxing by the campfire. Loved the decor and attention to detail. Matt was super easy to work with, as I had to change my reservation and quick to respond. We even made friends with the barn kitty 😻. Truly delightful stay!

Great place to stay! So many amenities are provided. Loved the various outdoor cooking options, hot tub, and pool table. So much space for everyone. The largest couch I think I have ever seen. Everything had been cleaned thoroughly. A previous review mentioned the floors being unclean, it was a build up of soap residue that a quick vinegar rinse took off. It can happen when you mop too much with certain types of soap/cleaners, it is not a lack of cleaning. Amber was super responsive and helpful! We had a minor issue that Amber helped with in minutes. The only negative is the request to not flush toilet paper that is posted in the master bathroom. Septic issues are not unusual, but for some people this could be an issue and they should know about it before booking. I would love to stay here again and would recommend it highly.
