Clean and cosy. I was staying here the night before a conference; I felt very safe. Chloe was great at answering a query about a place to go walking nearby.

Stayed here while working in the locally, a beautiful spacious home. Very comfortable beds. Huge garden in a quiet area.

Warm, comfortable lodge in peaceful position overlooking small, lovely wetland area. Very well appointed with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. Easy access for me with my bad knee and flat, pretty walks around the area. Simon is easy to communicate with and we loved our stay. Thank you Simon - and the welcome bottle of wine was much appreciated.

Bill and Sally made us feel really welcome. The barn was perfect for our stay. Everything in Bridge Barn was well thought out for our needs. Great little extras: tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were provided which was a nice welcome. There was a nice pub and restaurant literally over the road. We also recommend a visit to Meaks cafe for breakfast or a light in Melbourne lunch (5 minutes down the road). Calke Abbey (National Trust House) is a must visit (10 mins away). It a great house with loads of interesting things to see, nice facilities, great gardens and play areas for children on a huge estate to explore. Thanks Sean and Elaine
