Incredibly nice bathroom and Tom was always on the hook when you wrote to him with questions! You got very calm from the area as it was incredibly quiet and beautiful. The walk around the lake is highly recommended! Close to a large shopping center that had everything you can imagine. If we are going to Alingsås again, I don't hesitate to book again!

We loved our time at this place. The view of the lake was stunning, and the place was clean and cozy. The jacuzzi was a perfect way to relax. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Beautiful home in a farmland . We were six people on the way to stockholm . Beautiful farmland surroundings,though no animals present.But loved the lovely cat passing by . Place had all amenities plus an electric charging station for car. Host was super responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

We (6 adults, 4 children) had a wonderful week in Jon's house. There were lots of toys, the trampoline and the boat were great. There are many great activities in the area, also the kiosk at the campsite next door is very convenient for kids because there is always ice cream and fries.

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

We had a great vacation at Linnea's house. It had everything we needed. The location is great, right on the lake, very quiet, you are really secluded and have your peace. We were out and about a lot with the two small boats on the lake and enjoyed the sun in the garden. We will be happy to come back!

We had the lovely week in the cabin, quiet surroundings with great nature, we were 4 people and 2 dogs. The dogs could run around in the enclosed garden and we could relax either on the patio behind the house, or in front of the house overlooking the field. We can't wait to come back for New Year. Stupid mosses are ready for a trip be about 5 km. walk in the woods and moss, easy with dogs.

Incredibly nice location! The weather was not really with us all the time, cold and raw but you can take that. But in beautiful weather the place is probably magnificent to be at. The plot fenced which was a very big reason I chose this home as we have 3 dogs. They bathed and enjoyed the water. The house cozy and everything worked well! Niclas is a nice host who responded quickly and delivered firewood to us. This was our first air bnb accommodation and it was a cozy experience that we would be happy to do in more times! Not impossible for us to come back here!
