Vacation rentals with breakfast in Florence

Our stay in Florence was part of a surprise 15-day trip to Italy for my husband’s 50th birthday. I can’t think of a better place to have started it than at Lorenzo’s charming, warm, and utterly unique home. It was a 25min walk from downtown Florence. As New Yorkers who are used to a walking city, we were thrilled as it required no car rental or many taxis. And each walk took us across Ponte San Niccolo with its dazzling view of the Duomo in the distance. Our eight-year-old daughter loved the house and felt immediately at home. Highly recommend it and hope to someday stay there again.

WOW. What a great place to stay We loved the Air B&B that Carlotta rented to us. The accommodations were fantastic. The roof top patio looking at the Duomo and Bell Tower were stunning and even more beautiful at night. The home was in the perfect place in Florence. Really close to everything we wanted to see. Just below Carlotta’s place was a great gelato place and a fantastic restaurant. Carlotta was a great host. She was very responsive to my many questions and pointed out a few things on a map for us. I had a satisfying stay at Tommasso's place. The house is located in the Tuscan Apennines, close to the Mugello circuit and the Bilancino Lake. In an area on the mountain. Very nice. It has been ideal to disconnect and practical to visit Florence, as it is located only about 3 km from San Piero a Sieve, a town where you can take the train that takes you to the central station of Florence (Santa María Novella), which, in turn, leaves in the heart of the city center and all the monuments and places of interest to visit. The accommodation is complete, with kitchen/dining room and living room on the ground floor and bathroom and upstairs bedrooms. It was clean upon arrival and very friendly host Tommasso gave check-in instructions and had the attention to leave something for breakfast and a pellet bag for the heating stove. Also, he was interested during the stay if I needed anything. All 10. If you want to improve something...put a toaster

Sonia was incredible. She was so welcoming and had amazing and clear recommendations, tips, and instructions for the area. We really enjoyed the property and the incredible views it had to offer. I would recommend this spot to anyone trying to see the Chianti region and/ or Florence!

Very nice place to stay in the Tuscan region of Italy. The place is at a considerable altitude. View from the kitchen is very nice. The host was always very responsive. We had a very nice stay and I would recommend this place.

We felt very comfortable right from the beginning. We loved the delicious wine, a filled fruit bowl as well as cheese and sausage to welcome you. The surroundings are fantastically beautiful and you can enjoy the tranquility. It is suitable as a starting point for day trips in the area. We will be happy to come back!

We booked this place as our base of operations for our visit to Florence and the surrounding area. Going into Florence was super easy: five minutes by car, free parking at the station, and frequent trains right into the center of Florence. Sure beats driving in the city! The loft studio itself was lovely, with wood beam ceilings, stone floors, a big picture window to the garden, but also very good curtains for privacy. And it was great to have breakfast ready for us each day!

Cosimo was the best of hosts! He was very responsive and helpful leading up to our visit. The instructions were clear and we were able to access his beautiful property easily. The house was a gem! Such attention to detail and care for the building and the comforts of the guests. We enjoyed a wonderful five nights and visited Florence, Tuscany and Portovenere. Fiesole was a great spot for good dinner and sunsets. Just a perfect spot away from the fray. We hope to be back some day.

Amazing host! Helped us carry our luggage with the kid. Very aesthetic house with all the amenities, felt like home after a tiring day. Loved the morning view from kitchen balcony, Florence at its best. Would love to stay here again if we ever come back to Florence.

This apartment is in such a perfect central location. It is also much spacious than it seemed from the photos. Loved the little terrace as well. Rosella was very friendly and flexible. The kids enjoyed the breakfast pastries, a nice touch.

Easy to get into the apartment. Security is very good. Very nice interior with good quality furnishings. There’s a “library “ of materials on Florence including a Rick Steves’ travel guide. This was a real bonus! Lorenzo was friendly, easy to work with and proactive with information. Appreciated the washing machine and dryer which were handy. Kitchen had all the basics as well as a bowl of portable snacks. Right on the bus line. Overall an excellent place to stay.

The best location imaginable, 1 min to Pont Vecchio on a beautiful street full of amazing and great value restaurants. Clean and comfortable apartment and excellent service from host.

Nice location if we can keep luggages would be much better as Florence is a tourist city.

Extremely warm welcome on a beautiful green property directly overlooking the river. At the breakfast table, you could talk to other guests and get or share a few travel tips and experiences. Overall a very open, casual atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Teresa and Agostino were the best hosts we have ever experienced. They were both extremely sweet, made us breakfast, taught us how to make pasta and then served us dinner all for free! We had multiple options of where we wanted to stay (went during off season). She gave us some of the best recommendations for local activities and food and what to see. Teresa and Agostino deserve so many more stars than you can physically select. If you have the opportunity to stay with them, you need to!

Great location and great place to stay. The views from the rooms were amazing.Steven was a great host and gave us good recommendations for local restaurants. The place is very calm and quiet and it was a very enjoyable stay.

I recommended staying here to get away from the rush of central Florence but still be a step away from all the action very friendly with great recommendations and accommodated our needs we would stay here again!

Francesco is super helpful, responding quickly to our needs. The place is cleaned daily. Strategic area to be able to visit several places of Florence (even on foot). It also includes Italian breakfast (very good) at a really well equipped and well-stocked bar. If we were to return to Florence, I would definitely choose this solution again!

Daniel and Daniela welcomed us with a kindness and helpfulness that immediately made us feel at home. It was an authentic experience, immersed in the nature of the beautiful Tuscan countryside, away from the chaos and mass tourism. The food was so delicious, everything local and prepared with love - every meal was a special moment. The property is well cared for, cozy and perfect for those looking for peace, relaxation and genuine contact with the area.

My wish to find a pleasant place to explore Tuscany by bike and car has been confirmed - quiet, away from the hustle and bustle (a recommended trattoria is within walking distance!), with lots of greenery, but above all a pleasant and accommodating hostess who always has tips on the area ready. All in all, an accommodation to feel at home!

We loved Matteo’s house! It was very remote and peaceful. We loved doing a cooking class with Matteo and having dinner with his family and other guests. His dogs are the best. Such a nice experience. I will note it is better to access the house and nearby towns if you have a car—otherwise can be tough to get around.
