Dear Sissy and Thomas, We can't thankyou enough for your hospitality, the conversations, the tips, the amazing cooking skills, the details in 'Il Giardino', everything was amazing! Definitely the best hosts we have ever had and the most amazing place to stay in when you're in Kefalonia. For everyone who is considering Il Giardino, don't think, book! You won't regret a minute! The garden and view on the ocean is amazing! The place is very clean, comfortable and has everything you need and if not Sissy is there to provide it. You don't have any importunity from the airport. The drive to Argostoli is about 10minutes. You do definitely need a rental car if you want to explore Kefalonia and feel free.

Without doubt the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. There were 10 of us with ample facilities for everyone. The children particularly liked the pool. There was a mini market, bakery and some nice restaurants all within easy walking distance. It is located a short drive from Argostoli and some really nice beaches. The villa was so clean and well appointed that it was absolutely wonderful. The host was fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Lovely villa with a beautiful view of Argostoli the capital. Villa was clean and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely pool and outside area. Europe and her family who owns the villa, were very friendly and responsive and sorted out issues with internet and heating straight away. Local area is great with three restaurants in the town and a bakery. Would recommend a car as island is not really walkable. Would recommend the local beach Agois Thomas (8 min drive). It has sand and beautiful sea with interesting diving spots. We went in April and most things are closed as off season, it was still lovely and we enjoyed the empty beaches. However most cafes, restaurants and tourist sites are closed so maybe go May to September for full experience.
