“Well-appointed, nice private cottage with a beautiful outlook. We got there just at sunset and the view of sunset over the waves with the tī kōuka trees and flax bushes in the foreground was stunning. Breakfast provisions were appreciated and there were a number of thoughtful little touches that made our stay very pleasant.”

“Woodpecker Bay Bach is truly a magical piece of paradise. Daniel is an incredible host and so quick with communication. The location is absolute perfection, the space is so uniquely special and equipped with everything you could possibly need for the most relaxing escape from the real world. We can’t wait to return!”
This stunning beach front 'studio style shack' is nestled amongst the famous native forest of the West Coast. It has everything you need, so your stay in paradise feels very homely. The end of the earth has never been so beautiful
“What a wonderful spot! The hut is really homely, well equipped, and all the little touches certainly go noticed. We had a lovely few days: going out for walks, exploring the area, dinner by the fire under the stars, and playing scrabble into the evening. Rob and Jenny were great hosts, very kind and helpful - we particularly appreciated the invitation to the weekly community open mic night, which was great fun. All in all would thoroughly recommend. Bring warm clothes in winter - it can get a little chilly inside in the evenings, though the hut is well supplied with blankets.”
