“A luxury B&B, certainly worth the price. A spacious room with a high-quality duvet and a kitchenette (small kitchen unit without hot plate), large bathroom and a luggage room. Well maintained soft carpet, clean and quite place to stay. Separate entrance (privacy), table with 2 chairs outside. A bit out of town (a 15 min walk) but with the bikes (free use) you are just there in 5 minutes. Good breakfast with a lot of fresh fruits (in season picked by Ian). Joy is a fine hostess, offering pick-up upon arrival at the bus station. And she drove me to the starting point at Roys’ Peak. Just share your Wanaka plans and she will certainly give you good advice.”
Our modern unit for 2 guests has a kitchenette { microwave only for cooking }, comfortable, relaxing lounge, bedroom, walk through wardrobe and own bathroom. It is located in a quiet street a short walk from the Clutha River , biking and walking tracks. Close to vibrant Wanaka, 5 minutes by car, but away from the hustle and bustle.
“Keith was very keen to provide a great experience for his guests. He messaged us before we arrived to ask if we needed any suggestions on places to explore on our way down. He also made sure that the unit was warm for us when we arrived. There were lots of little touches to make our stay more comfortable like a fully stocked breakfast selection and pieces of fruit. “Best breakfast of our whole trip. The bed was the most like our own bed too. Francis wasn’t home when we got there, but had let us know how to get in and it was all so easy. Then we went out to the Cinema Paradiso and she was asleep when we came back, but she’d left the light on for us. So nice!”
