Vacation rentals in Franz Josef Glacier

The outdoor bathtub with a view of the mountains is just incredible. The rest of the place was so comfortable and completely spotless. So many little details were thought about, like a big citronella candle for outside, bath salts, loose leaf tea and biscuits. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Place was so awesome! Nice clean, good space for 3 adults and 2 infants. There was some fresh eggs, fresh milk and mandarins! It was so amazing. As it's farm, in the morning me and my kid could see milking cow, some ducks and chickens with chicks. Shame that we couldn't stay one more day. I really recommend this place.

We loved staying here! It was clean, warm and comfortable. It’s a very close drive to the Fox glacier viewpoint and lake matheson from here. The breakfast provisions was also great to have. Thank you!

Cathy's place was perfect for our one night stay. She was kind enough to offer us an upgrade due to a cancellation, which we very much appreciated. The unit was very spacious, clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. It was well heated and the bed was very comfortable. We would recommend a stay at Cathy's place - it certainly met our expectations as a great place to relax after a full day of exploring.

Thanks James for having us. This cabin is a comfortable place for 1-2 people to rest for a night while visiting Franz Josef and surrounds. All the major attractions and services are only 5-10 minutes away by car. Would recommend as straightforward accommodation for those visiting the West Coast.

A beautiful little chalet, clean, comfortable and the right mix of modern and classic. It was quiet and peaceful. Great to have access to a sauna and spa. Standout and highlight of the stay was Frankie’s doting company - he even joined me on the couch! Thanks Judith for having us - highly recommended!!

Mel‘s house was a gem. Beautyfull and with literally everything one needs for a perfect stay. The fireplace is cosy and works very well, making the house comfortable. The kitchen and all equipment was perfect to make a perfect shoulder of lamb and all other things. Bed was comfortable anf the shower in the bathroom perfectly done in an alternative way. All in all a very nice place to spend some days!
