Lovely house and helpful host, very welcoming and plenty of tips on local area. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in the house for a work in the area. The house has very good conditions. Communication was great. Everything worked well. We recommend.

A perfect stay! A welcoming and peaceful place, a charming and flexible hostess. We couldn't have asked for better 20 minutes by train from the center of Amsterdam! We'll definitely be back.

Very nice complex and cottage

Our stay with Margriet corresponded in all points to the photos and description. The house spacious, especially downstairs with large dining table and enough seating for 8 people. Tastefully styled, practical and plenty of kitchen utensils, a beautiful sun terrace and a super boathouse with canoes and saps, the absolute highlight for the grandchildren. They didn't expect anything like that (because grandma had missed it in the description). Therefore, this was our absolute highlight at Margriet's. Martina and family in April 2025

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

Had very nice days in this beautiful spacious building. We were with 6 adults and 5 young children. For everyone, the house was very pleasant to stay in.

Dear Denise, Dear Thorsten, thank you so much for this great vacation rental! The concept with which the house was planned and built is just great and everything that is necessary for this large number of guests has been thought of. Two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two large induction hobs, five bathrooms... etc. I also think the pictures speak for themselves =) We had a great stay and felt incredibly comfortable at all times. Definitely recommend!

Cozy family house, with all the comforts. Large garden and lots of toys. Everything works and is comfortable.

A super stay with a lot of space. For 5 people really perfect. We can recommend it to everyone. If we should mention a point of attention, that would only be the description of the last 100 meters to the cottage and the space to park the car in the driveway next to the house. However, that is secondary when you enter the house and enjoy it further.

We had a wonderful weekend in this house. We particularly enjoyed the large kitchen-living room with the panoramic view of the water. The terrace as well as the seating at the bottom of the water invite you to relax. Communication was easy and fast. We will be happy to come back.

Very nice and spacious place to relax and cook and dine! The house is located between other (detached) houses but has plenty of privacy and a very well-maintained garden with many cozy seats and user comforts. We loved the hot tub, sauna and BBQ facilities.

Our team of 6 people, business travel after one night, 1, the owner of the house proactively communicated to confirm the arrival time, it was planned to arrive at 8:30, the actual arrival was 9:30 -10, with 1 hour notice, the host was very patient; 2, There is a tree house and a swing in the house; 3. Easy parking🅿️; 4. Surrounded by 2.5km sea and beach, there are shells on the beach🐚, which is suitable for walking to see the beach🏖️;

Marjolein and Jan are lovely hosts. They give great attention to their home and gardens. As shared, the home is walkable to the train and Heiloo business district. We were welcomed with delicious soup and snacks and were given time to chat and ask questions. Their kindness and willingness to help us navigate North Holland, and to make recommendations throughout our stay, was exceptional. I wish we had more time to chill, however, we squeezed in many beautiful sites in 5 short days. The small towns being a highlight! Heiloo is super and the locals so friendly:). We stayed at this lovely AirBnB with 5 couples. We rented the entire residence and we all were extremely impressed with our accommodations and hosts. The property was as it was described and more. This location was central for us to journey out for day trips all over the Netherlands. Our hosts were top notch and provided great knowledge about the surrounding area. The common areas provided great place to gather and our rooms were a beautiful space to retreat. We would highly recommend to anyone, whether renting a room (as the bed and breakfast) or the entire home! Thank you to Matt and Csilla for creating a beautiful atmosphere for us to holiday as a family.

A lovely quiet place. Spacious garden, beautiful views. The house is cozy, cozy and has all the comforts. Within fifteen minutes you are in beautiful forest areas where you can walk endlessly. Also a great place for cycling enthusiasts.

We had a great extended weekend at this beautiful place. ( 4 adults, 3 children) We lacked nothing. The communication was great, the contact very friendly. A great house, beautiful location, great island.

The accommodation is in a unique location overlooking the beach and North Sea. It’s tastefully furnished and thoughtfully equipped. Even has its own private fitness equipment and there is also the use of an indoor pool. Everything was immaculate and every detail from the cozy bedding to the modern amenities made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Luna’s mother went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us some outstanding local tips. It would be a perfect location for a larger gathering as Luna also runs a Beach House opposite. Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway, an active beach holiday or simply a beautiful place to relax and unwind, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best of IJmuidens coastal charm.

We felt very comfortable as a family in the house. The villa is perfect for 8-10 people. Everything was right. The owners are very nice and easily accessible.

We stayed with a total of 8 people (3 generations) in this house for a weekend and had a lovely time. The house is spacious, clean and equipped with every comfort.

The accommodation is particularly Cozy , very nice to spend the evening there. If you like board games, nice round table in the living room to Play ... Quiet neighborhood. Accommodation close to the train station and restaurants. The city itself is very pretty . Finally, Marius gives all the useful information. A place and a place that I would recommend without hesitation.

Super nice place to stay with everything you need for a weekend with friends! By bus you are in beautiful Alkmaar in 15 minutes, where there are also many good restaurants and pubs. Otherwise, the villa is relatively remote and right on a highway. But nothing can be heard in the house. But it was relatively cold and difficult to get warm inside. The service was very good and always easily accessible (even later in the evening). All in all, it is highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the house, beautiful garden, chill space and swimming pool. Except that it is very nicely decorated, it is also very complete. Bart is very friendly and responded incredibly quickly with a question from us. Even though we were only there for a long weekend, it really felt like a vacation.
